1 month later...
Victoria's POV
"Hey babe" I could hear Hayden's exhausted voice from the other side of the line.
"Hi honey, are you okay? Maybe you and Mason should come home and rest for a while, you haven't slept since..." I trailed off into the line.
"Since the most recent threat?" Hayden finished the sentence off for me.
About a month ago when Ariana and my kids were born a package was sent to the front door with pictures of our kids and a very unappealing note. Ever since then Hayden's and Mason's wolf have been as ease and they don't want to rest until they're sure it was a threat with no real intentions. Ariana and I haven't left our kids sides and of course being mated to an alpha and beta means protection 24/7. According to them they were not risking anything.
"Yes" I sighed into the phone.
"Don't worry about me I'll be fine babe I'll call you later I think we got a lead love you" he rushed into the line.
"Love you too, be careful" I said sternly but softly.
A small cry was heard from across the baby room I was in, we created this room for the 4 children. I walked over to one of the cribs and realized that Abigail had woken up already. Abigail and Logan are Ariana's son and daughter. I picked her up and heard another cry from the next crib of course Lexy Grace, my daughter, was now hungry.
'Ariana could you hurry with the bottles Abigail and Lexy woke up and I'm sure Logan and Alex aren't far behind!' I mind linked Ariana.
The door creaked open and finally Ariana appeared with 4 warm bottles, smiling at the 2 girls in my arms.
"Hi there baby" she cooed softly at Abigail.
"What took you so long" I whispered/shouted.
"I taught I saw someone looking at the pack house while the bottles were warming up" she whispered.
"But Ari thats-thats impossible, this house is protected all day and night" my worried voice took over the small room.
"There's someone out there and I'm sure" she replied confidently.
