VICTORIA'S POV
It was now dark and I was getting sleepy and I have this weird craving for a cucumber mmmm . I honestly have no idea where I am . I just hope that Hayden woke up and is looking for me . Ugh me feet were getting swollen so I sat down by a large tree trunk and closed my eyes as I drifted into a peaceful nap .
HAYDEN'S POV
Soon after we started to search I caught my sent mixed with Victoria's I commanded everyone to come back to me so we could track it . We kept going and surprisingly I never caught the sent of another wolf . As we got closer the sent got stronger until I got a view of Victoria leaning against a tree sleeping . I pushed my wolf to reach her and when I did she was fine but I caught a sent of another wolf near by . It was mostly faded away but it was still there I ordered pack members to follow the sent and bring the rouge back to me and they did as told . As I got closer to Victoria I saw a note on the floor near her where she was taking a nap . I shifted , put some basketball shorts on and picked up the note and read it
dear alpha Hayden don't let your wonderful mate wonder around you don't know who could be lurking in the woods and I see that she has pups on the way . i will come for her and kill your pups soon but today was just not the day . WATCH YOUR BACK .
I growled and crumbled the note and threw it on the ground . I shook Victoria slowly till she began to wake up .
" babe wake up " I told her .
" uhm what happened " she was so cute she asked confused .
" I don't know why don't you tell me " I smiled softly at how cute she was and I was glad she was Ok .
" I'm tired and my feet hurt , Hayden i don't want to walk " she complained .
I chuckled and picked her up bridal style and began walking back to the pack house . She fell asleep peacefully in my arms the rest of the warriors followed and surrounded us unsure if the rouge was still in our territory .
When we got to the pack house I ran a shower for both of us . When we where done we went down to eat .
VICTORIA'S POV
When we where done with the shower Hayden ran for us I told Hayden that I was hungry so we came downstairs to eat . Everyone was either in bed or enjoying their mate or not in the pack house even though it was like 11 pm . Hayden told me that everyone was looking for me so they must be tired and resting . I kinda felt bad for worrying everybody .
" Hayden I'm sorry " I started crying . Ugh ladies this is how hormonal you can get while your pregnant .
" sorry for what baby " he asked clearly confused and I knew he could feel my emotions and read my mind . Even though we couldn't mind-link because of the babies .
" for worrying everybody " I said in between sobs .
" babe its OK don't cry and don't worry your their Luna they'll always worry , and this much stress isnt good for the babies let go upstairs so you can tell me what happened OK " Hayden answered as he lead me up the stairs to our room but half way I almost fell so Hayden wouldn't take that so he carried me up the rest of the stairs into our room and onto the bed .
" Explain everything that happened " he ordered going into full business mode . Aw I hate this mode when it has to do with me and hes in this mode it usually means I get another body guard added to the 15 i have already or I'm on house arrest or I'm in bed arrest .
I groaned and started to tell him everything " so when we where sleeping I got a phone call and I didn't want to wake you up so I took my phone went down the stairs and outside into the woods so I could talk in private , it turns out it was my secretary telling me my company has alot going on and that i have a photo shoot tomorrow so she filled me in with all the details and it took about an hour . anyways while she talked and I answer her or listened turns out I was walking deeper into the woods , when she finally hung up my phone died and I realized that I was lost , so I started to walk around a bit and then I got cold and hungry and tired and my feet where getting swollen so I laid by a tree trunk and fell asleep " When I finished telling Hayden I was out of breath .
" what kind of photo shoot " really out of all that its all he heard
I groaned again " pregnancy "
I laid on the pillow and soon felt Hayden's arm wrap around me and we fell asleep together just how I liked it.
