"Oh my goodness, isn't junior high supposed to fun?" Skylar groaned with frustration as she opened her locker.

"Who told you that?" Peyton replied while stuffing her books inside of her locker, not caring about the mess inside. She was a bad-ass that way, a free spirit.

"You should probably clean you're locker before it explodes," I pointed out.

"Yeah, that only happens once in a blue moon," Skylar replied rolling her eyes.

"Only happens in a blue moon," Peyton repeated in a childish tone, teasing Skylar. Then Skylar repeated the same thing Peyton said.

"Guys, really?" I said raising an eyebrow at them.

"Sorry," they replied simultaneously with wide grins.

"We gotta go Leah, see you tomorrow?" Peyton asked.

"Tomorrow it is then," I replied while waving them goodbye.

"Hey girl didi it hurt?" Someone asked behind me. Turned around to see Ethan.

"What?" I replied crossing my arms.

"When you fell from heaven?" He smirked.

"No, it sure as hell hurt when I crawled from hell," I replied victoriously.

"Nice," he chuckled.

"I try," I replied chuckling.

"Hey do yo---"

"Amelia hurry up," Faith said running towards me.

"Hey Faith," Ethan said waving his hand.

"Oh, hey Carter," Faith replied.

"You were saying?" I asked.

"Scratch that," he replied waving it off," I have to go, see you ladies." He waved at us and jogged towards his car, then he drove off winking at me. I shook my head as he drove out of sight.

"So is this the place?" Faith asked looking around.

"Yeah I guess so," I replied.

"Bye," Faith said driving off.

"Thanks a lot," I uttered to myself," some sister I have." He's supposed to be here by now. Maybe he's inside. I thought to myself and walked into the Ex's and Hex's. The café was amazing, every singer's dream to sing here. Vintage furniture and ornaments hugged every corner of the café.

"Woah," I uttered aloud with sheer excitement.

"It's dope isn't it?" I instantly recognized the voice, and turned around to see Sandy smiling.

"Took you're sweet little time didn't you?" He asked.

"You're the person who didn't give me the exact locations," I replied.

"Yeah, yeah," he said. Then I punched his arm, he winced at the pain.

"Amelia?" A very familiar voice said, it was Peyton.

"Peyton?" I replied with surprise.

"Leah what are you doing here?" She asked.

"She's you're one and only contestant," Sandy said pridefully, like he had fulfilled his duty.

"Oh my freaking God you can sing?" She asked me.

"Kinda," I replied with a nervous smile.

"Kinda?" Sandy said," she's the bomb of every freaking bomb."

"That does not make sense," she said," let's see what you got." Then she shoved me onto stage and I almost tripped on a guitar wire in front of a lot of people. I stared at her with a "really?" expression and then she mouthed a "sorry". After a few minutes I was sitting on a stool resting my hands on a guitar taking in a deep breathe.
