"Hopeless...it's hopeless. Mere humans can't stand up to him..." Merida's familiar voice drifted to Jack's ears. Jack whipped around and saw her clutching DunBroch, her hands shaking violently while doing so. Her message was clear: there was no way they were going to win, not a chance.

Galaxy looked all around them. Her expression darkened, breathing heavily. "Damn it...! It's all over... The world is already finished..."

"To think that I would spend my last moments with Hnda royalty... Fate truly is a mysterious thing," said Eugene.

The Hndan crown prince smiled agreeably. "Yeah. I couldn't have said it better myself. But I'm not going to just lie down and die. I'm at least going to go down fighting."

"No... Is this...really the end for us? Is there anything... We can still do?"

"No... Don't give up! No matter how strong this dragon is... I believe that we can win as long as we work together! Don't give up!" Jack rallied to his army. "We've fought too hard to give up now! If we believe in each other, we'll defeat Emmanouil once and for all! Isn't that right?! Everyone?!"

"Jack..."

"Of course..."

"I won't run away!" Jack declared. "I...we chose this fate! So we will definitely decide our fate! Everyone! Raise your weapons! Fight for the friends you believe in! Fight for the Fire Emblem! Let's do this!!"

Cold, cruel laughter brought the entirety of the army to a stop just as he finished speaking. With wide eyes Jack looked around at the small expanse of emptiness for the source of the voice.

"Welcome, one and all," Emmanouil's voice cackled, but it wasn't coming from the dragon himself, that seemed to be inanimate now.

"I bid you welcome," he repeated, the voice now coming from behind Jack.

He spun on his heel, sword coming up. Standing in the middle of the army with a huge scythe resting across his shoulders was a hooded figure, the human version of Emmanouil. Beneath his open coat the scars on his chest glistened wetly, the grin on his face widening to display far too many pointed teeth for a human mouth to hold.

"I've been waiting for this," he said, staring directly at Jack.

Without warning an Invisible soldier appeared beside Rapunzel, about to end her with its axe. She screamed, and Eugene barely made it to her side to cut it down.

"To arms!" Jack cried, Invisibles crawling up out of the soldiers' own shadows.

The army began to panic instantly as clawed hands gripped their ankles and rusted weapons began hacking at them from below. Unit cohesion collapsed almost instantly, and the soldiers tried to back away.

"Hold!" Eugene roared, hacking low and felling Invisibles with every step he took. "Hold, damn you all! Fight! Fight or die!"

"This is insanity!" Hiccup shouted.

A hooked dagger bounced off the prince's greave, carving a line but doing little else before the man flipped his sword around and buried it in the Invisible attacking him from his own shadow.

The scene was repeated all over the expanse; soldiers were falling, healers were desperately trying to get to all of them, Invisibles crawling up out of the dark shadows beneath them. Tiana was steadily trying to lead more men to the human Emmanouil and beginning to succeed, but-
