"Dammit...! There's too many enemies!" Jack said, quickly backing away to hide in the thicket of the trees. He looked at Elsa. "Do we need to retreat and regroup...?"

Elsa shook her head. "That wouldn't be a good plan. If we run away, we might not be able to fight our way back into the Infinite Chasm..."

"Shit..." Jack said wearily. "So we have no choice but to fight? At this rate, we'll be going to our deaths."

Did we come so far just to end it here... Is there nothing we can do...?!

"Believe in yourself, Jack."

Jack turned to his older brother who had spoken. "...Hiccup, but..."

"Listen to me," Hiccup said gravely. "I didn't come here to run. I didn't come here to die either. I'm here to fight with you. And I'm sure the rest are all here for the same reason."

"Everyone...?"

"Yeah. Everyone believes in the path you walk in. So, throw away your doubts. Even if it's a hopeless battle, fight to the very end for your own beliefs. If it's you...you who has been chosen by the Guardian, you can do it."

"...Yes. I understand, Hiccup," Jack said, nodding slowly at first but then becoming more determined. "We have to fight after coming this far! Everyone, prepare to fight!"

It was almost time when the Hnda and Euna sky would merge. The group gathered around, in preparation for the assault. They lay behind a small hilltop, by the forest. They'd need to act fast before the enemy could locate them.

Hiccup called for the group's attention. "Everyone, let us go over the plan once more. We're about to head straight into enemy territory. So far, it seems that the enemy will vastly outnumbers our forces, so we'll need to be methodical with how we fight. Jack?"

Jack walked up to continue and cleared his throat. "Our magic users will be our main assault force for as long as we can keep the enemies at bay. The rest of you fend off any enemies that manage to evade our volleys. Stay close to each other. Like always, if one of us runs into the commander, which, in this case, is King Pitch's advisor, Iago, take him out. We need to establish a secure position and get to the bridge that goes into the Infinite Chasm. After which, we either wipe out, or drive away their forces. Be safe out there, I'm confident that if anyone can pull this off, it's us. However, don't let your egos get ahead of you."

Several of the soldiers snapped their attention to Aster.

"W-What the hell?" the ninja stammered.

Jack chuckled. "I wouldn't worry about him. He can't do any fighting without those shurikens of his anyways."

Aster frantically searched in his pockets. An irritated "ahem" broke through and he stared to his left to find Mulan with a displeased look, his shurikens in her hand. The others laughed.

Jack smiled. At least they're in good spirits.

Hiccup stepped up. "Alright everyone, get into positions. The skies will merge at any moment, so we need to gain as much ground in the darkness as we can."

The group got into formation. Jack stood near the front alongside Aster and North.

Elsa walked up next to him. "Are you ready?"

Jack nodded. "I am. Be safe out there, Elsa."

"I do not plan on falling here. There is far too much to be done. Be safe too, Jack."
