Don't Leave Me

Frisk P.O.V

After a few minutes of hugging and talking I finally convinced Papyrus that we could find Sans together if we try. He just needed some time to himself. As a thank you for all I have done for him, he gave me some gold to get some Nice Cream nearby. I found Nice Cream Guy behind some trees and bought the nice cream. I sat on the steps of Papyrus' house while licking the cold treat. Though I was in Snowdin, the nice cream was pretty good. Once I finished the treat I walked inside to grab my jacket. It was a spare jacket that Sans had given me. It was a little big but still fit. I stood on the doorway and thought about what just happened. (italics are the person's thoughts) Do I still like him? Frisk, don't think like that. You are DETERMINED to help him. Just then I heard someone behind me.

"HELLO HUMAN! A-ARE YOU READY?" It was Papyrus. He was still stuttering a bit but other than that, his voice was back to normal. He also had his scarf back on. "O-OH YOU MIGHT NEED THIS. IT'S REALLY C-COLD OUTSIDE TODAY" Papyrus put a light purple and white beanie on my head and gave me an awkward smile. Papyrus scratched the back of his skull. "W-WHERE DO YOU WANT TO  CHECK FIRST?" I thought for a moment then gave myself a mental facepalm. "We should check the most obvious places first. Let's go visit Grillby's." Papyrus gave me a small okay as we walked over to the restaurant.

"No. The last time I saw Sans was yesterday at around 5:00 pm." Papyrus was drinking a glass of milk since there wasn't anything else on the menu that he liked. "Oh. Where do you think Sans would go? Papyrus and I thought you would know. You are one of his best friends." Grillby did nothing but laugh. "You should be asking your buddy Papyrus. He is Sans' brother." Papyrus shot Grillby a death stare. "IF I KNEW WHERE MY BROTHER WOULD BE, I WOULD GO THERE FIRST!" Papyrus' voice quickly softened to a whisper. "B-But I don't know a-any other place..." Grillby cleared his throat and fixed his glasses. "You can check the Snowed Inn." I gave myself a mental facepalm again. Why didn't I think of that? Papyrus finished his milk and we went to the Snowed Inn.

"Excuse me? Have you seen a small skeleton named Sans around here?" The lady at the counter made a concerned face. "No I haven't. I'm Sorry." Papyrus sighed and walked outside. "Oh. Thank you anyway." I smiled at the lady and left.

"Ok Papyrus. I think I have one more place to check which is- um... Papyrus? Are you ok? You have been awfully quiet." I looked up at Papyrus who was standing still. "Papyrus?" I nudged him but nothing happened. "Papyrus!?" I tried holding his hand to flatter him. Nothing happened. "Papyrus this isn't funny!" Papyrus started to falter. "S-Sans isn't h-here. He could be... a-anywhere..." His breathing became weird and he fell to his knees. He tried to get up but couldn't. "I c-can't... can't b-breathe..." I panicked as I rushed to get Papyrus back on his feet. "Papyrus please stay with me! I'll try to call Alphys."

The world became dark for both of us as Papyrus blacked out.
