I walked back to the room with the beds and looked at Papyrus. "Papyrus, why?" Papyrus sniffled and looked at me. "D-Did I do something wrong? I d-didn't mean to..." He sat up and looked at Alphys who was shuffling through her papers. "I can't seem to f-find anything that matches Papyrus' c-current state. I don't think I have ever found this before but, it looks like some sort of brainwashing." I stared at Alphys with disbelief. "But how? He just fainted. That can't be-" I was cut off by Alphys finding something in a drawer. "I found it! Papyrus must've hit his head on something in the snow. This rare malfunction causes the person to act badly towards anyone who has done any sort of harm to them. E-even close family m-members!" I almost didn't believe this. "Is there a cure?" Alphys stood in fear and shock. "W-Well, there is one thing you c-could try. Get Sans to g-gain Papyrus' trust. t-that should work."

I walked Papyrus all the way to Snowdin. We found Sans standing next to the door of his house as if he was waiting for something. "Hey Sans." I called out. Sans looked up and saw me with Papyrus. "oh. hey kid. nice seeing ya with pap." I walked up to Sans and put my hands on his shoulders. I knew he wouldn't try to teleport again with Papyrus around. I whispered the plan to him and pushed him towards Papyrus. Papyrus started backing away and saying things to himself again. He ran away and didn't turn back. I tried to catch him, but he was too fast. I turned to Sans and frowned. Why was he doing this?
