I Betrayed My Brother

Sans P.O.V  (This part would be in Comic Sans if I could use fonts. Since this is in Sans' head, it won't be in all lowercase.)

I walked through Snowdin all alone. I didn't care that everyone was staring at me. I just wanted to get back home and apologize to Papyrus. Once I got to the door I tried to open it. Locked. I knocked on the door. "papyrus? frisk? open the door!" I felt something vibrate in my pocket and my phone's ringtone played. The caller was Alphys. "sup al. what are you calling me for?" Alphys was surprised by something but I couldn't tell what it was. "O-oh! I f-finally reached you. U-um, come to my lab. Frisk s-should be waiting for you outside." I started to end the call but stopped. Why was Alphys calling me out of everyone? I had a lot of questions but continued to end the call. I teleported to Hotland and found Frisk looking at the floor outside of Alphys' lab. "hey kid. do you know why alphys called me?" Frisk looked up from her feet and sighed. "I think it's better if you just see for yourself."

Frisk P.O.V

I led Sans to Alphys' True Lab. The walk was quiet other than Sans asking questions. Once we got to the right room, I saw Alphys panicking. "H-hi guys! It's  v-very nice to s-see you Sans!" I looked down. "Alphys. Is he going to be alright?" By now, Sans was totally confused. "you guys haven't even told me what's going on! I'm starting to get worried." Alphys walked over to the bed that Papyrus was in and put a hand on Sans' shoulder. "I promise h-he'll be awake in a m-minute." Sans nodded. His eye sockets were empty once again.

It didn't take long for Papyrus to wake up. The first one to react was Sans. He instantly ran up and hugged him. "papyrus! how did this happen?" Papyrus looked confused at first then showed signs of anger. He started kicking and pushed Sans away. Once he had calmed down, he looked at me and cried. I went up to him and tried to make him stop.  He got closer and hugged me. Then something came to my mind. Why did Papyrus hug me and not Sans? Papyrus noticed I wasn't hugging back and slowly went back to his original position. "I-I'm s-sorry." He whispered.  "Alphys? Why does Papyrus act so strange around Sans?" Alphys looked back at where Sans was. He was just standing there. His big smile was now gone. "it's my fault isn't it. it's my fault for running away. if i hadn't left, none of this would've happened." Everything was quiet for a few seconds but those few seconds felt like an eternity. "it's all my fault!" Sans yelled then ran to another room. I went to check on him but when I stepped into the room, he wasn't there...
