I get out of the car in mid argument. I can't deal with her shit anymore. Which probably made her more mad. She drove away quickly, obviously mad.I stop in front of my school and look at it, theres other kids walking up the tall concrete steps. I too start walking up the stairs into the school taking one deep breath.
I walked through the semi full hallways. Hood up, headphones in. Trying not to panic. Ignoring everyone that I didn't know. I see my friends in a group to the right up ahead and I walk right past, I can hear them calling my name but pretend like I cant. They stop and start talking, about me probably and how I didn't answer them.
Walking down the long hallway I notice, everybody is with people. People sitting on the floor by their lockers, standing, laughing. Smiling. They all like it here. They think it's where they can see their friends. When it's actually a horrible place and makes kids 20x worse with stressing over homework. The people here are all just looking for drama and want to have fun going through high school, I just want to get it over with. Just then I hear tiny voice through my headphones. A teacher whose classroom is in my hallway.
"Hood please." She politely asks. I pull it down making my hair static a lot. eh, I don't care. I fix it a little and continue walking.
I finally get to my locker and turn the dial to the three numbers, pull back and open it. I take my backpack off and throw it in there. I planned on just sitting there listening to music but I feel awkward so I close my locker door. I start to re-lock my lock on my locker because I don't trust this school.
when I feel someone squeeze my sides, which makes me jump,
"Hey there Natalie" I hate when people do that to me.
I turn around and see it was my friend Alec. I take one headphone out.
"Oh hey there." I say kind of quietly because I'm not in the mood to pretend to be all giddy.
He gives me a weird look then looks away. I was just about to put my headphone back in when he stopped me.
"What's wrong?" He gives me a look trying to make me tell him but he wouldn't understand. Nobody would.
"Nothing." I lie, "nothing's wrong, why would it be?"
"There's something." He says pretending to know me.
"You don't know me, you wouldn't be able to tell. There's nothing wrong." I am starting to get agitated.
"If you want to talk I'm here." He sayings pretending to care. I don't so why is he pushing so hard?
"No. Can you just leave it?" I say exhausted but frustrated.
Alec is one of three guys that is my friend and no there is no 'relationship' going on here because he is gay. But doesn't seem it that much because he hasn't told the world only a few people. And I'm one of those people. He's tall, has dark brown hair, almost black and hazel eyes that have more green than brown. He's very slim, skinnier than me. The other two guys, well the other ones gay also and the other one I'm not that great of friends. He hangouts with some people that don't like me.
