ISA POINT OF VIEW
We step into the carriage, me and Ethan sitting on one bench, while the spokesman, and a few guards sit on the other across from us. For the first few minutes were not moving, or talking. The carriage begins to shake feeling a lot like an earthquake, but no, it just means we started moving. I can't believe they still use this."So Isa Elizabeth Woods huh?" Ethan nudge my shoulder playfully. I look over to him smiling. "Yep."
He takes my hand, and put it in his. "It's beautiful." He whispered in my ear. Please try to hide your blush please try to hide it!
I hear laughter fill the carriage no doubt Ethan. "Aww, did I make you blush?" He asked playfully. I pushed him softly, which just results to him doing the same. "Don't flatter yourself I was just practicing..." Great what do I say to that? "You were practicing for what?" He asked his eyes staring into mine. I can't think straight when he does that...it's like he's hypotizing me. He starts smiling at the thought of that. He is isn't he!?
"I'm just practicing my facial expressions for... when I become a royal." He laughs it off, but it doesn't reach his eyes. "You already are a royal." He acknowledged smiling, but his tone was sad. Why would he be sad? It doesn't change a thing...well except more duties.
"Hey you okay?" I asked a little confused. Nothing would change between us, right? He squeezes my hand. "Nothing in a million years could tare us apart. We're meant for each other." He reasured me. He starts smiling, this time reaching his eyes as well. I put my head on the crook of his shoulder... it fits so perfectly.
He's right I have nothing to worry about. I'm mean what could happen? Nothing so major that it could tare us apart...we already had that episode.
I looked out towards the window the sun brighter than ever or maybe it just seems brighter because the last realm was...so much more dimmer. As I thought about it more there are no words to explain what happened in that last realm unless you're retelling the whole story.
"Hey Ethan, are you okay about Sha...your father death?" I asked playing with our intertwined hands. If things went down differently I know he would have wanted to save both of us. "It wasn't him I was worried about..." I look over to him to see his eyes meet mine. "It was you. My father was getting ready to kill me just so he could get to you. It happened in a blurr, but he went straight for you instead. I didn't really have time to react, everything happened so fast. You were dead I felt the last breath leave you, my father did that to you, I wasn't thinking straight all I was really thinking about was my father killed the only one I ever loved. I guess maybe things could have turned out differently if the situation was different, but if I had to choose a father who was never there for me, or the love of my life it would be you in a heartbeat. It would always be you." Wow, um...lost for words.
He leaned in to kiss me, but we heard a heavy sigh. I look up to see across from us was three shocked guards, and a jaw down spokesman. I completely forgot they were there...were they there the whole time?
I smiled sheepishly down to the floor, while Ethan just squeezed my hand all the same.
"So, um, okay yeah you guys lost me. So Isa died?!" The spokesman asked. I looked up towards him startled at the question. Yeah, I did, still don't know how I came back...glad I am back though. "It's a long story."
