ISA POINT OF VIEW

He freezes the whole room, just twirling his dagger. Why a dagger? "It's just you, and me. Actually it's just me." He freezes me just like the others, and slowly walks towards me. Fight me like a man! You....

"What? I'm dying to know." Coward! "Am I? You seen it before people trying to kill someone else, but the slight hesitation costs them their lives. So if I'm doing this to make sure you die is that being a coward? Maybe, maybe not, but it gets you dead, and that's all I want. That's all I ever wanted for the last 18 years."

A person comes to view staring daggers at Shadow Criminal. Ethan! How...

Shadow Criminal slowly backs away as Ethan walks up to him. I hear laughter, but not from Ethan. "Leave now! He will kill you..." Ethan turns to me hurt filling his eyes. I wish I could look away, but I can't I'm literally  frozen in this state. Shadow Criminal dagger is over Ethan. "ETHAN!" Ethan holds his hand up shooting ice at Shadow Criminal.

Shadow Criminal is frozen! What took me probably months to master he mastered it in like minutes. Impressive and slightly just slightly jealous. He walks up to me his hand glowing with fire.

It starts to feel warmer, the ice slowly melting. He presses his hand harder on the ice breaking surface.

The first thing he does is pulls me in his arms even though I treated you so awful. "Ethan, I'm sorry..." He breaks apart looking at me. "No, I'm sorry I should've told you, but I thought you would leave me, and I couldn't lose you." He puts his hand in mine. "No, I understand now, I wouldn't want to be someone child whose their parent is slightly evil, but he still your father, and in a way I do understand his reasoning. My father destroyed your father's happy ending I understand why he's mad at me."

"No, he's wrong about you. He doesn't realize your not your father..." My grip tightens on Ethan. He spins me around. The dagger. "No, no! Isa stay with me." He places me gently on my side. "I wonder if this reminds you of something..." I started trying to lighten the mood, but he's just focused on saving me.

What if he can't, there's so much I want to say to him to tell him how much I love him, how much he...

"Isa, don't you dare do this to me you're going to make it! I just need a good look..."

ETHAN POINT OF VIEW

"There's no hope for her that dagger is going to send her to another realm." Shadow Criminal cuts in. No, no!

"No, how could you!" I shouted at Shadow Criminal. Isa grip tightens. "What happens..." Isa started, but couldn't finish, the glowing around her body starts to grow brighter. She going to be sent there any minute now! What do I do?

All of a sudden the dagger is out of Isa body, and rushes straight towards Shadow Criminal. The dagger hits his shoulder. He's being sent to a different realm? "Isa, how did you..."

"I didn't do it." She starts closing her eyes. Of course! Whoever strikes someone with the dagger there sent to the same realm...Oh, no. "Isa, I can't go with you, but if you ever need help call for me, I'll be there. I'll explain to you later, just promise me you'll call for me."

She starts disappearing. "Isa, promise me, please call for me!" She almost completely gone when her voice's in my head. "Promise." Her voice faint, but there. She fully disappears.

I want to go with her...how much realms are there? What's the chance I'll have hers? No, I need to stay here.

I hear someone groaning. I look up to see Shadow Criminal clutching his shoulder. 'He still your father.'

"Why? She's not her father, and she said that she would give you the throne, so why?" The realization hits me. I know why.

As usual he doesn't listen. "How did she do this?!" He gestures towards his shoulder. The glowing around him is still faint.

I slowly walk up to him finally able to stand taller than him. "You never been... you never even acted as my father, yet you are, and I'm still your son and I know why you did it. Yeah, you could lie to Isa, but you can't fool me."

"Oh really, why?" Shadow Criminal looks up smiling. "It was never about revenge please can't believe anyone would believe that let alone every single guard you had, you had to be the best..." the smile disappears from his face. "Nonsense!"

"Is it father? You know she's powerful, and you know she's more powerful than you. So if you got rid of her, you would be the most powerful wizard of all time, but you had to get rid of her first." His glowing is getting stronger, but I still have time. Time to finally talk to my father after all these years.

"Okay boy, I don't know what game your playing, but I ensure you it was ALWAYS about revenge." I got to admit he is good at hiding the truth maybe that's why all the guards believed him maybe that's why Isa believed him, but he still doesn't get that I'm his son. I know him.

"Shall I continue?" I ask. He doesn't respond. Well, that's not an no. "The first moment you laid your eyes on Isa you saw how powerful she would be. Resisting the necklace power definitely got her under your radar, but what about before all that? She got her ice powers the day before she was going to die, yet she lived!"

He suddenly gets up, and walks up to me still clutching his arm. "All because of you!" He looks at me, and I  couldn't help, but smile. Now we're getting somewhere.

"Yes, because of me, but that doesn't change the fact that she survived her expiration date only a few can do that including me and you." Fear reaches his eyes as I said that. "What are you..." He couldn't finish his statement as he looks down at his arm showing the proof of what I just said. He should have died the same day Isa mother died.

"I would ask you how'd you do it, but we're running out of time, and this is the first time you've ever talked to me as a father." I looked over at him as he look down to the ground. He's going to be sent any minute.

I still got time. "Let's even check the contents after she got here. I've heard she broke out of her restraints, and you had to build stronger ones, yet here we are even I was able to break those. Or the fact that she got new powers." A confuse look crosses his face, so I continue.

"Yeah, she got new powers, the exact same ones as mine, and me hers. So what does that have in common? Oh, this even leads to your past." Fear crosses his face everywhere as he shakes his head begging me to stop, but I need to know the truth.

"You heard of the legend right? How true love couples who were meant for each other shared powers... a connection. It took me awhile, but I finally figured out that Isa and I had that very connection, but you were jealous you never had that connection with Charlotte." He grabs his sword about to strike me, but I raise up my own overpowering him. "Don't you dare speak her name to me! She was my true love! It's Isa father..."

"You know what, no it wasn't. All these years you've blamed it on her father, but it's you to blame, all you."

The glowing almost covers his whole body by now. "Let's face it father, I know you, and you know this is true when I say it was never about revenge, jealousy, or even love. It was always about the power." I see him disappear in front of my eyes, but just before that I saw a look in his eyes that said it all.

It said all of this was true.
