This story is going to come in multiple parts, a maximum of 5.

I got the idea for this story from my friend Amani. I'm so sorry you had an existential crisis... but thank you for this inspiration! I hope you're good now!

This entire story is in Dan's point of view.

This story isn't completely finished yet, but until it's posted, here's a sneak peak:

Everything just kinda feels strange now though. But being away from home for so long can do that. It feels so different being in my own flat now, almost like something isn't quite right, but I can't put my finger on it.

Maybe I should just sleep on it...

Needles were attached to the crook of my right elbow, and the rest of my arm was underneath the sheet. There were 2 bags were hanging from the stand, putting unknown fluids into my body. A mask sat over my mouth and nose, and I could feel something in the back of my throat. It was uncomfortable.

But thankfully a nurse had come into the room just before I started freaking out, and she turned on the light, illuminating the dark space. Seeing that I was awake, she quickly checked all the machines I was connected to, and left...

"Last night I had asked Dan here some questions." The doctor began. My parents nodded, urging him to continue. "It appears that Daniel has no memory of what happened that led him here. I thought that one of you would feel like you would want to tell him what happened."

Nothing will ever be the same.

Well I hope you enjoyed that sneak peak! The rest of this story will be up soon, but I hope this sneak peak has interested you into this story.
