A/N: Part two here we go!

☆☆☆

When I awoke from... whatever slumber I was in, I felt quite a lot of things. I felt sleepy, but my arms and legs were causing me a lot of pain. I could smell the sanitary smell of a hospital, and hear the beeping of a heart monitor and a breathing machine.

Wait, why would I need a heart monitor and a breathing machine?

What did Phil and I do this time that landed me in the hospital?

It took so much effort to open my eyes. I wanted to open them, and see where I was, but my body was telling me otherwise. However, I didn't listen to my body, and I actually put in the effort for once to open my eyes, despite me being so tired.

When I opened them, I was greeted by the sight of my family sitting in a set of chairs on the opposite side of the room. My mum reading a book, my dad reading a newspaper, and my brother playing a Gameboy. But where was Phil?

Needles were attached to the crook of my right elbow, and the rest of my arm was underneath the sheet. There were 2 bags were hanging from the stand, putting unknown fluids into my body. A mask sat over my mouth and nose, and I could feel something in the back of my throat. It was uncomfortable.

I grunted softly, slowly stretching out my legs and my arms. Suddenly I heard a gasp.

My eyes opened again to see my family now all looking at me with teary-filled eyes. Well, my mum and dad were, my brother just stared at me with a hopeful look. I don't understand though... what happened?

"Dan?" my mum asked softly.

"Hm?" I replied with the only sound that could really come out of my mouth at the moment.

Then suddenly everyone was in hysterics. It was all so confusing, me just lying there confused while they cried tears of joy. A doctor came in not too long after my family started crying. He looked genuinely surprised to see me awake.

"Ah, welcome back Daniel." He greeted me as if I were a regular customer in a shop. I looked at him confused. But it's not like I could just start talking and ask a bunch of questions.

"I bet you're confused about why you're here." He assumed. I nodded. "We'll be giving you some answers shortly, but you should take a rest."

Why on earth would I need to take a bloody rest?! I mean, yeah, I'm tired, but I just woke up!

However that didn't stop me from closing my eyes, and drifting off to sleep once again.

When I awoke once again, things were already a bit different. For starters, my family was gone. And the tube that was down my throat was no longer there, to my relief. I also had a much smaller breathing mask on my face.

I was alone. There wasn't anyone in the dark room but myself, and that's kind of what terrified me.

But thankfully a nurse had come into the room just before I started freaking out, and she turned on the light, illuminating the dark space. Seeing that I was awake, she quickly checked all the machines I was connected to, and left...

Only to return once again with the doctor.

"Hello Daniel." He greeted.

I moved my hand in a waving formation.

"Now that you've rested I would like to ask you some questions. Is that ok?" I nodded. "Right. Do you know your full name?"

"Daniel James Howell." I replied quietly, but the doctor heard me.
