A/N Hey Guys! Please show some love by voting! I appreciate it a lot :)) (Double chinning of happiness)

Despite the fact that Jade has no muscle on her arm, she sure has a grip. The girl could probably take me out. Which is why I don't dare try to escape. Plus, the whole Jordan thing caught me off guard. It's not like I've told anybody.

"Ummm..." I honestly don't know how to respond. What could this girl want from me? All I got on me is some used chapstick, gum, car keys, and a backpack full of incomplete assignments. Unless she wants my soul...

"Look, meet me at the back of the gym building after fourth period. Don't let anyone see you, you understand?" She doesn't wait for me to respond. Her hold on me is gone as fast as it had come.

"Well that was vague." I say aloud.

"What was?"

"Aughhhh!!" I jump at the voice behind me. I put my hand on my chest and turn.

"Woah chill dude," its Hailey Wright, an acquaintance. We're not exactly close, but she's the closest thing I have to a friend around here. Plus, I'm kind of a good influence on her seeing as she can be a little too laid back. I am too, but I need to stop her from getting high.

"Nothing. Let's just go." I say, and Hailey shrugs as usual. We head to Chemistry, where I spend the time scribbling in my notebook. The thought of what Jade plans to say to me keeps running through my mind. She's not one to mingle with people like, well, ME. As in so not popular, and rich? That sounds typical, but it's true. The popular stay in their own circle, and the rest of us just wander around I guess.

The only acknowledgment anyone gets from them are smirks or looks of atrocity, as if we were some other species. I was actually friends with some of them back in the elementary school days. Then somewhere in middle school, things seemed to restart, without me getting a warning. All my old friends just seemed to forget who I was. Not that I had many, but still.

I look over at Hailey, her brown bangs hide her tired eyes. She works late shifts at some restaurant near the highway exit. I get free chili cheese fries when I go, which is every Friday of course.

When the bell rings, I tell Hailey I'll be meeting her a little late at lunch, and head to fourth period. Jordan is in this class too. My seat is in the row to the right of his, and a few desks back. This allows me to have a good view of only the back of his head, but it is a view none the less.

I don't know Jade very well, but something tells me that she might actually get me closer to Jordan. Jordan is popular, but he doesn't really belong in the circle somehow. And okay its extremely cheesy, but I just have this feeling that he's different. If he wasn't then I wouldn't be wasting my inks pens writing his name all over my agenda like a lovesick teenager.

If Jade can get him to even glance my way, then I'm willing to do almost anything. But what worries me is not knowing exactly what it is I'm about to do. Especially since that look she gave me back there tells me she's not going to simply let me go so easily. Whatever reason she has to decide to confront me must be serious.

So when the bell rings to signal the end of fourth period, I speed walk down the halls until I leave the main building. It's the start of winter, but my increasing heart beat keeps me warm. I almost choose to turn back around, but Jade walks out from behind the gym and sees me. She is expressionless, yet there is still something in her eyes.

"Hey," I start hesitantly. She puts both hands in her pocket, and approaches me.

"You didn't tell anyone right?" The cold weather causes a puff of air to come out with every word.

"No, so why am I here exactly?"

"To help me." Jade says this as if it's obvious, which it is, but I don't know exactly what that means.

"Okay, but- "

"I want REVENGE on Alyssa Hights," she says sharply. This statement doesn't clear anything up for me. Instead, I'm more confused than I was a second ago. I mean as far as anyone knows, Alyssa and Jade are besties or whatever.

"Why would you want- "I begin to ask, but she cuts me off again.

"That bitch needs to be taught a lesson. I want payback, and I happen to know you like Jordan. So," She starts to walk around me with her eyes stuck to mine in a determined manner, "if you want a chance with him it's in your best interest to do what I say." She gives me an intimidating smile.

I look at her like she's crazy, which come on she kind of sounds like it right now.

"And if I don't help you?" I cross my arms over my chest in hopes of looking at least as half as tough as her.

"Well, let's just say I'll make sure no one ever looks at you again."

Too late for that. I might as well be the gum underneath the school desks, seeing as no one even wants to get to know me. But, like I said, maybe she might just be my only hope to get Jordan.

"Okay, so what exactly do you have in mind? What am I supposed to do?"

She gets extremely close to my face and says, "Sleep with Jordan."

"WHAT?!?!" Okay, this bitch for sure crazy. Because I'm pretty sure she's not actually using my definition of sleep.
