The drive there felt like it was taking hours, but it really had only been a couple minutes. I could literally feel the car shaking from the bass of the music when we were about three blocks away. A minute later we pulled up in front of the house. There were kids standing and laying all over the yard. They had a line going down the front sidewalk and down the street waiting to get inside. It looked like they were charging admission. As soon as Drew stopped the car, I jumped out and ran up to the door.
A tall, muscular guy blocked me from getting inside. “Two dollars. You have to pay for your beer just like everyone else.” He looked me up and down as he said it.
I gave a disgusted grunt, “First of all, if I wanted beer I would go buy it myself, I’m probably the only one here actually old enough to. Second, I’m not staying. I came to get my sister away from whoever has her locked in a fucking bedroom upstairs.”
He smirked at me, “I don’t know who you think you are, but I do know you not getting inside without paying. But if you have no money, I’ll gladly take another form of payment,” He winked at me and slapped my ass loud enough that people standing in groups at least six feet from us turned and looked at us.
Just then Drew came up behind me. He grabbed the guys arm and shoved him back. “If you ever touch her again I will break both your arms,” Drew threatened.
He was pissed. The look on his face even had me backing away from him, scared.
“Now, you better tell me where Kimi Wilson is, and you better do it now,” he continued.
“Upstairs. Second door on the left, it’s a bedroom. She’s in there with the captain of the football team, Zach.”
I took off inside and up the stairs before he could even finish talking. When I got upstairs I saw Hannah right outside the door the boy downstairs had said.
“Hannah?” I asked softly.
Her head snapped towards me, “Dani! You gotta help. Do something, anything. Please,” she pleaded.
“I will.” I moved her so she was sitting against the wall across from the door.
I pushed on the door and found out it was loosely locked. And the handle was very loose.
“Move,” Drew said, making me jump.
I just blushed and moved out of his way. He smirked and hit the door. It shuddered, but didn’t open. He tried again, throwing all his weight at the door and it popped open. We rushed in there, but no one was there. Then bed was perfectly made. There was no trace of them.
“Kimi?” I whispered.
Just as I was about to leave, I heard a muffled sound come from the closet. Slowly, I walked over to it. My heart felt like it was going to pop out of my chest at any moment. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and then I opened my eyes and opened the door.
Drew pulled me away just in time to avoid being hit with something that flew out of the closet. I looked over to see Kimi lying on the floor and a guy standing there looking pissed.
“Who the hell do you think you are interrupting me and my girl when were about to go at it?” He asked.
This just shocked me.
“How long have you and ‘your girl’ been dating?” I asked him, putting air quotes around ‘your girl.’
“Long enough,” he sneered. “Not that it’s any of your business. The only people that should care about her left her on her own because they don’t even care. So unless you’re gonna go at it with me, I suggest you leave.” He looked me up and down before adding, “The offers always open though, babe.”
