*Courtney's POV *

'Okay he said
'Okay' she repeated.

Ting! The bell rang, oh damn I was just in the interesting part of 'The Fault In Our Stars'.

I make my way to the counter and read the name tag of the librarian. Mrs Byrolyn.

"Mrs Byrolyn, I want to burrow this book. When should I return it?" I asked

"Return it by February." She ordered in a rude voice. She is very old about 80 years old. She looks scary.

I take the book in my hand and took to my heels. We wouldn't wanna stay with a grotesque lady now, would we?

As I make my way to my locker on this floor, I see a figure which abruptly stops when it sees me, pair of blue electrifying eyes is boring into mine. It is He Who I am Drooling Over!

My heart beat thumps so loudly that I'm afraid he is gonna hear it.

He approaches me and I do the same. We stop quite close to each other.

"Hi." Came his hot voice.

"Hi" I repeat.

Oh my god! This is like that part in the 'Fault In Our Stars' where the okay okay part happens.

"So Courtney, 'Fault In Our Stars'? Never thought you were those type of girls" He said looking at my hand which the book is.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. I need an excuse, can someone please tell me an excuse? I really need one.

No one's here, my child.

I'm not a child.

Oh shit! You are right!

That's means I'm always right! Hah!

Um....darling I wish we had time to argue but he's waiting.

And shit, indeed he is. "Oh this! This..um this is for my friend! It's not mine obviously but if you like love them, I could make an exception." I find myself answering.

Whoa girl! Real smooth! Me likey!

Wait, how did he know your name!?!?!

Then my brain clicked, how did he know me!? I backed a little, fear evident in my face. He noticed and most probably understood and his smile fades. He still looks hot though.

"How did you know my name?" I asked.

"Oh that! I got it from your friend, her name's Cyrene. Your bestfriend, most probably and by the way who burrows books from the library if they can read it online?" He said and I softened. So Cyrene was a help, I see.

"Well yeah but she is back dated so.. um yeah. This is for h..her. Plus, she...um she prefers library more than anything. It is quite and solemn. It's where you can get access to anything and everything. You can cry,uh umm... laugh along with the characters in your mind with utter silence. You can freely let let emotions out, you get to read without, umm any nuisance." I get so engrossed into talking that I don't realise him staring at me me. Awe struck. That's so cute. Oh my god! He has a little bit of drool on the side of his lips! So he was drooling over me... cute.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask

"You look cute when you're frustrated. Don't worry I tell won't tell anybody, darling." He simply states while more butterflies roam around my stomach.

Then I look at my watch! Crap! I'm going to be late.

"Umm I didn't catch your name." I say grabbing my other books from my locker.

"Derrick, darling."He answered.

I chuckle a bit then say,"Alright then Derrick Darling, I'll see you later. Im late for class."

"Derrick Conner, I mean." He said while blushing a bit and continues," I'll see you later, then." Then he rubs the back of his neck.

"Bye!"

I wave my hand and literally run to my class.
I'm late but it was worth it.
