"Alright class, grab your belongings and make your way to the exit!" Ms.Moore, the technology teacher announced to her students after an hour of traveling inside the coach bus.

All 7 friends quickly got up and grabbed their suitcases from above and exited out of the coach bus.

As soon as all of the students were out of the coach bus, Ms. Moore signaled them to gather around her. The coach bus then drove off.

"Alright, is anyone missing yet!?"Everyone shook their heads. "That's good. As you guys know this is the Crimson Forest, known for its beautiful red, crimson leaves. I hope you guys have brought a tent and if not, I hope you can find someone to share one with. Follow me!"

Yet? Trina wondered.

As they were walking, they saw many different birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and bunnies.

"Did you all bring a tent?" Stacy asked the six.

All of them nodded, except for Wyatt and Stephanie. They stopped dead in their tracks. The others stopped as well, snickering at them.

Stephanie fell to the ground, putting her hands through her hair. "Oh no! I left it on the coach bus!"

Stacy rolled her eyes in amusement and turned towards Wyatt. "How about you? Let me guess, you left it at home?"

Wyatt nodded. "Out of all the things I could've forgotten, it had to be the thing I was going to be sleeping in."

Maria and Trina laughed. "You're lucky Stacy mentioned that or else you would have to 'move in' with someone last minute. I wish I could invite you but my tent only fits two people and Trina and I are sharing one. Also, Wyatt, you're a boy."

Fel laughed at this.

Wyatt looked very offended. "Um, I'm sorry, but when have I ever done something to make you lose your trust in me? I'm very responsible and mature, just so you know."

Stephanie got up and scoffed. "Says the guy who didn't bring a tent."

Wyatt put his hands on his hips and glared at her. "Says the girl who left hers on the coach bus."

Stephanie mimicked Wyatt's position. "At least I actually brought mine, unlike you."

"Well-"

Stacy stepped up and broke them apart. "Woah there kitties! Let's leave this for another day. Also, we should probably get going, or if you want we could get lost?" She tilted her head saying the last part.

All of them regained their composure after seeing how dark it was getting and how far their class was.

"Yeah, we should get going before we get lost. I don't know about you guys but I actually want to enjoy my senior year," Maria said to them, following Stacy.

Both Wyatt and Stephanie gave each other one last glare before jogging towards the rest of their classmates.

------

"Here is where we will be staying for the next two days! Set up your tents and if you have any trouble, ask your classmates for help," Ms.Moore said before leaving to set up her own tent.

"Oh no, where am I going to sleep?" both Wyatt and Stephanie murmured.

"I would have invited you, Wyatt, but my sister and I are sharing a tent," Fel told Wyatt.

"Well, someone could 'move in' with me since my tent fits two people," Stacy told them.

"How about I move in with Stacy and my brother and Wyatt can share a tent," Tara suggested.

"And I brought an extra tent just in case," Trina said. "Stephanie, you could sleep there."

"That sounds good. Any objections?"Stacy said.

No one said anything.

"Okay then, lets's start constructing our tents."

------

"Are you sure about this, Tara? Remember when mom said 'you guys need to stay together'," Fel told her sister once they finished setting their tents.

"What mom doesn't know can't hurt her, right? Also I think you would prefer Wyatt over me," Tara responded, looking at him seriously.

"That's not true, and you know that. But anyways, do you have the food that mom gave us?" Fel asked. Tara nodded. She went inside her suitcase and found some granola bars, bags of chips and few bottles of water in a bag.

" Yeah, it's right here." Tara replied as she took the bag of food and water out of her suitcase.

" Um, Ta-" Fel said when a blue jay entered their tent. It's squawk interrupted Fel as it took the bag of food in its mouth and flew away into the woods.

" Come back here, you naughty blue jay!" Tara exclaimed as she and Fel ran into the woods to chase the bird, leaving everyone else in their tents.

------

" Attention everyone, We are now going to have our campfire!" Ms. Moore exclaimed as people started to come out of their tent.

The five friends all came out of their tents and walked towards the fire.

" Have you guys seen Tara or Fel?" Maria asks as she scans her surroundings.

They all suddenly turned to the direction of a loud noise and spotted Tara and Fel chasing a blue jay with a bag in it's mouth.

The five friends chased after Trina and Fel. After a few minutes, they lost sight of the Blue Jay.

" Where are we?" Wyatt asks.

" I think we're in a forest." Stephanie replied.

" How far are we from the campfire?" Fel asks as she looks around.

" If we were in Australia, I would direct us out in a snap, with my eyes closed." Trina said.

"But this isn't Australia." Stacy replied, with a bit of attitude. Trina mimicked her back. "Exactly." Stacy rolled her eyes.

Sassy Stacy.

"Anyway, do any of you know?" Trina asked in a nervous tone.

The other six shook their heads as they all scanned their surroundings. Suddenly, a twig snapped. As they all turned their heads towards the sound, they noticed a shadow.

Of a human it seemed. But it quickly disappeared when their eyes landed on it.

" Did you guys see that?" Stacy asked in a scared tone.

The rest of them nodded as they looked around, trying to spot a possible trail back to their tents. But little did they know that the shadow struck again,  watching their every move, for now at least, before any one of the seven notices.....
