The kids walked down the straight road that seemed to never take a turn. They walked and walked until it seemed like their legs were going to fall off.
Just then, when it seemed like all hope was lost and gone, lights started flashing in their eyes. It was the city. Not like the one they remember.
This one had way too many buildings and way too many people.
"This isn't the city I live in," Tara said.
"Well, it's the only other place we can get some help" Xander replied.
Everyone nodded and started walking toward the city.
What seemed like hours to the kids was only 53 minutes. They were tired, hungry, and hopeless. by the time they reached the city it was DARK, but the city lights were on. They kept walking, but a few minutes later the heard sirens behind them.
A car pulled up in front and a dark haired lady pulled got out of the car.
"Hello kids, I'm officer Jen," she said holding out her badge."Now I would like to ask what you kids are doing out in the middle of the night."
No one replied.
"UM........WE'RE LOST!"Xander screamed.
"Well ok then, get in kids, I'll take you right home," Jen said opening the door to the kids.
Everyone got in and Jen started to drive. She asked where they live and right after they answered, she started to laugh.
"Well you must be playing everyone knows that place has been closed for a long time"
"CLOSED" they screamed together.
"Well yeah,let me take to my office, then we'll find out where you really live."
It took them a few minutes to get the office. They got out and went in. The kids waited and waited for the officer to find their name. Stacy couldn't stop staring at the book. There was something that the book was hiding.
In a few seconds, a phone went off. Jen picked it up and the rushed to grab her gear.
"Well duty calls,"she said rushing."Let's go kids into the cell!"
"w-w-w-a-i" they said as they were rushed into the cell and locked up.
In a flash, the officer ran off.
"Well, that's that," Stacy said.
Then she opened the book as everyone to gather around her. In an instance they saw a bright light and when it cleared there was a weird thing in front of them........
