The 7 Tellers

Chapter 3

The 5 girls and 2 boys have missed the campfire. They now have to wait for tomorrow's daylight , that might help them find their way.

They slept on logs , in trees , and Trina and Stephanie even tried to build a shelter.

But failed.

As the sun rose , everyone began the search party. There was no luck. But , as the afternoon came , the campfire began again. 

The seven best friends looked around closely , trying to spot any signs of fire, so that they can find their way back to the campsite.

But that wasn't the only thing they were keeping an eye out for. . . . .

" Ugh! " Stacy exclaimed. They were walking in circles. " Unbelievable! There should really be maps here! "

Everyone was annoyed , because they could not find their way out. It seemed impossible. 

The seven walked around , trying to find their way back. As Tara looked through some bushes , she saw the same shadow they saw yesterday.

She was tempted to follow the shadow , but wasn't so sure about it. "Um...guys? I think I just - "

" How is it my fault I didn't even do anything! " Fel yelled at Stacy , interrupting Tara. " Actually , it is because you shouldn't be eating snacks outside of the tents.  Obviously , any animal in the wild can steal it." Stacy said. " Can you just stop snapping at people Stacy? We are best friends we should not be fighting. " Wyatt blurted.

The tension between others soon faded away. " How about we split up? " Tara suggested. Everyone agreed.

Maria was with Stacy and Stephanie , Fel was with Wyatt , and Trina was with Tara. " Girls " Wyatt muttered for only Fel to hear. " Boys " Stacy whispered to Maria and Stephanie.

A few minutes later.....

Tara and Trina were walking around , looking for a possible way back.

" Do you think we will ever find our way back? " Tara asked. " I believe so. " Trina replied. 

But the true question was,  who was the person who belongs to that shadow?

But what they didn't know was that the mysterious person kept an eye out for them as well.

They continued searching until a wasp came by the two. Tara screamed and ran away as the wasp was buzzing around her , leaving Trina behind. " Tara wait! "

Maria , Stephanie , and Stacy were really near the campfire. They just didn't know it yet.

As they were walking, Maria tripped and scraped her knee. " Good thing I have band-aids " she said as she  put one on her knee. As she got up, she saw a light. 

" The. The. The... " 

" The what? " Stephanie asked.

" THE CAMPFIRE!!!!! " Maria screamed, running towards the light.

Don't worry , she didn't die.

At least , not yet.

" Phew! The wasp is gone. " Tara said to herself , relieved. She then heard leaves crumble, and saw a shadow. This time, there was no thinking about either following , or not. Tara followed the shadow into a different part of the forest she hasn't seen before.

"Who is that?" she asked herself. She stood up and brushed the leaves off her pants, the person was looking straight at her.  

He/She raised her/his index finger in the air, and pointed at Tara. Tara screamed, right before she collapsed on the floor as the mysterious person ran away.

"Tara!!! Tara? TARA???" Trina saw Tara on the ground. "There's still a heartbeat. I gotta find the others."

Trina ran past the trail she made, leading her to her destination. Luckily, everyone else made a trail too. They were all back to where they were last night.

"GUYS! TARA IS IN A COMA!!!" Trina screamed. "What happened?" Fel nervously asked. 

Trina told her what she had seen, but didn't have the full story.

"Oh no! Do you think the person in the shadows we saw yesterday, who put Maria in a coma did it to Tara?" Stephanie asked, sounding scared.

"Wait, what happened to Maria?!?" Wyatt exclaimed.

Flashback

As Maria ran towards the light, she saw something.

It wasn't the campfire, but it was definitely not  something that was supposed to be seen.

The person didn't know she was watching. You know, before she stepped on something. He/She quickly turned around, and saw Maria.

He/She raised her/his index finger in the air, and pointed at Maria. She screamed, right before she collapsed on the floor as the mysterious person ran away.  

End of Flashback

"Oh my!" Trina said. Wyatt looked confused. "Wait . . .you guys witnessed this?" he asked.

Stacy nodded. "Yea, but we weren't able to catch a glimpse of the person's face." Everyone frowned when she said that.

They all ran in the direction of the trail that Stacy and Stephanie came back in, to find Maria.

But the mysterious person already knew that was going to happen............
