If I knew what came with being a demigod, I would have never come to camp. I'd rather get eaten by some random monster than have to fight in multiple wars and be the pawn of the gods.

Who ever said that they cared? That they would help? Because all they do is sit on their lazy behinds while we go and fight their wars.

First there was the Second Titan War, then the Second Giant War, and now there's another war that we have to fight in, and those gods better help!

Help? Good luck with trying to convince them of that.

Hey, Jack.

'Sup, Percy.

Hello, Percy.

Hi, June. What have you two been up to?

Oh, you know, just chilling in your mind.

If u could smack you, Jack, you would've been smacked by now.

Ooh, I'm sooo scared.

Oh, you better be, you little-

Guys!

Sorry.

Sorry

"Percy!"

"Huh? What?"

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah...um...what's going on?"

I look around and notice that I'm in the meeting room, sitting at the ping-ping table.

"We are discussing who you want to take on the quest."

"Oh."

"Yes, so the options are Thalia, Nico, Jason, and Hazel," Chiron spoke.

"I want Nico with me."

"Alright, so, what about the children of the sky?"

"Um, I don't know. I mean, if Thalia is available that would be nice, Jason if not, you decide, I guess."

Suddenly, my head started to pound, and I knew, that I need to get away. I stood up, knocking over my chair in my haste.

Clutching my head, I spoke, "I-I got to go," then I sprinted away.

Once safe in my cabin, I sit on my bed and pull the blankets up around me. I close my eyes and hope that my 'scene' isn't too bad this time.

Quests, quests, quests!

Lovely, aren't they? With the deaths and the running?

June, June! We should go on the quest too!

Yes, yes, that should be fun! Maybe we can come out at night, when the moon is bright, so we can see the stars!

Oh, yes!

I feel myself lose control of my boy and give it up, knowing that Jack and June are taking control.

I watch from the back of my mind as they walk around the cabin and start to mess things up, then walk into the bathroom. I feel myself pick up the blade of a razor lying unceremoniously on the sink counter, and feel the cool metal against the skin of my wrist. It presses down, but I start to fight for control. Not too deep. If it's too deep, it'll be more noticeable. I get enough control for the blade to only make shallow cuts, but u cannot stop it. Surprisingly, it still feels so good, a temporary escape.

When I finally come back, I find myself sitting on the floor of my bathroom, the small blade lying on the floor next to me. Two small puddles of my blood are gathered around my wrists, my hands laying in them.

I stand and turn on the water in my sink, and start to clean my wrists. I let the water heal me, but not all the way, I let it heal me until I have a scar, but made it leave the scar.

I exit the bathroom, and sit on my bed. I reach over my bed and grab the book I have been reading.

'To Kill a Mockingbird'

It's surprisingly a good book when you take the time to decipher the words. It just takes me a while with my dyslexia.

A short while later, a knock on my door startles me out of my reading.

I look up, and see Nico standing in he door way.

"Percy, Chiron says that we must leave at dawn."

"Alright, Neeks! I'll just go pack my stuff!"

"Okay, Percy. I'll see you in the morning, alright?"

"Alright, goodnight!"

Nico kisses my cheek, then saunters off, leaving me to stare as he walks away.

I don't bother asking who will be coming with us, they are all my cousins, it shouldn't matter that much, right? I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Tomorrow...
Tomorrow I need to go on a quest. Tomorrow, I need to travel to the west.
Tomorrow I need to go with my cousins, and we need to save the four.
