Hazel's POV
"It seems I have all the information I need. Sinclair, Fabi, Kay, I want you all to discreetly acquire Vanoss and bring him to me in his animal form. Do not allow anyone in that place to detect you, and make sure you bring no harm to Vanoss. You will monitor him here when you capture him and keep him in your sight." Dr. Nanners barks out orders and sends our 3 newest hybrids out to do the dirty deed. The action throws me off.

"Why are you just targeting Vanoss now? I thought we were after them both?" I push a little, and the mad man turns to give me a cocky grin.
"Oh we'll have them both alright. As for my future plans..." he trails off as he begins to approach me. "You'll find out soon enough, Miss Traitor." Shit! Is all that goes through my head before everything goes dark.
________
Jonathan's POV
When I don't feel the usual warmth beside me or smell that cinnamon mixed with vanilla scent, I shoot straight out of bed. Oh right... I lay a hand on my chest and feel my rapidly beating heart. I almost forgot about sending Evan away from me until the poison wears off.

I glance at the clock stating that it's noon, so everybody should be up and about by now.
_________
"Jonathan?" Marcel glances at me wearily as I begin to feel the worry return.

I had searched the entire house for his presence and not once did I see him or catch a whiff of him.
"Something's wrong." I mutter under my breath as I continue to sit at the kitchen table with stiff shoulders.
"What's wrong?" Brian cocks his head to the side and hears my quiet comment with his unbelievable dog senses. Dog senses, huh.
"Brian, I need you to sniff this whole place out and tell me if you smell anything out of the ordinary or unknown, alright?" I ask and he gives me a puzzled look. "Please?" I begin pleading desperately.
"Alright..." and he takes off his nose seeking out what I'm hoping is and answer.

"Jonathan." This time Lui is calling me, and I only just notice that everybody besides the grey wolf hybrid has settled in the kitchen and they're looking at me expectantly. I sigh, anguish seeping into it.
"I think Evan's been kidnapped." I feel like when I say it out loud, the reality sinks in more and soon I'm fighting the other side of me that is enraged.

Everyone else either gasps or is in shock; I guess we didn't think they would act so swiftly.
"Delirious." Terroriser comes up from behind and crouches to my level. "Vanoss' scent is stale, meaning he hasn't been here for at least 5 hours. Not only that, but I'm picking up very faint traces of a disturbing smell. It smells sterile–clean almost like a hospital but not quite." He finishes and I barely try to stop my other half. Those bastards!

I can feel my eyes darkening as Delirious takes the spotlight. Whether I like it or not, he's chosen the owl as our life partner, and this new development has him seething.
"That little owl is ours!" His and my voice roar simultaneously, leaving a few of my friends quivering. I'm surprised I'm being so bold but Delirious is also in control...oh consequences be damned, I'm going to get Evan back and then I'm going to claim him. That's a little forward, me.

"Evan is our mate and we will not hesitate to slaughter anyone who hurts him or gets between us!" Delirious growls and the pressure of his distraught is too much for me.

I black out just as he takes my body and we bust outside before using our instincts to find Evan.
________
Evan's POV
Something uncomfortably flat and cold rests against my side bringing me to my senses. I stifle a groan before pulling my eyes open and squinting at something shiny and metal like above me.

Suddenly I'm well aware that I'm not lying in my room and that I'm not even in my house. I wrack my brain to come up with an explanation, but all I remember is feeling weird about Jon and then him kicking me out of my room. Well I did try to attack him.
