This chapter is kind of long so I hope you enjoy.
Ava.
"Wait a minute, Juice is better than Boyz N The Hood let's get that straight now," I corrected Cinad, as we laid down facing the ceiling while asking random questions.
After the intense kiss the two of us shared last week sometime it felt like sparks flew and we were going somewhere with our relationship.
Even though we still found ourselves denying our feelings at times because, of our pride.
Last week I had my cast removed, which I couldn't be more happy about. But Cinad still insisted to baby me but I didn't mind.
"You asked the question you can't try to change my opinion," Cinad laughed putting his arm behind his head.
Playfully rolling my eyes, I dropped the debate that was bound to happen because, he obviously had bad taste in movies.
"Next question," I said waving him off while kicking my feet back and forth in the air.
"Jurnee Smollett or Sanaa Lathan," He questioned with a yawn followed behind it.
"Jurnee all day, don't really care for Sanaa Lathan acting," I answered shrugging
"You would pick the female that cheated on her husband and caught aids," Cinad chuckled shaking his head.
I was about to say something back but I was interrupted with the loud vibration that my phone was making from the nightstand.
Answering the face time call from Jaleel, I leaned against the headboard waiting for his face to appear on the screen but frowned when I realized it was Mace.
"Why you got Jaleel phone," I aske, his face was all up in the screen so I barely could see him.
"Because, he wouldn't cook me nothing so I took his phone and locked myself in the bathroom with it," Mace giggled while I heard yelling and banging on their door.
"He going to get you," Shaking my head I laughed as Mace and Jaleel went back and forth through the closed door.
"Whatever, my mama a beat yo ass," Mace yelled making my mouth drop open and Cinad burst out laughing making me pop his hand for entertaining that mess.
"Mace stop cussing," I said sternly but knowing him he wasn't going to listen to me anyways.
"Who that laughing," Mace asked I turned the screen to face Cinad who was now leaning against the headboard with me with his head rested on my shoulder.
"Ay wassup my brotha," Mace nodded finally moving his face from the front of the screen, Cinad did the same gesture back, pulling out his phone from his sweats.
Hearing their door unlock, a pissed off Jaleel barged in snatching his phone from Mace who took off running while laughing before he could hit him.
"Never again am I babysitting for your mother," Jaleel said breathing heavily while taking a seat on the toilet.
"Yeah they're a hand full, well only mace not Emoni. Where my baby at anyways," I asked pouting. He told me she was downstairs eating and watching television and I nodded my head.
I missed my little sister even though she kept to herself a lot of the time, she was still a fun child when you actually talked and played with her.
"Ay pass the phone to Cinad real quick," Jaleel said making me furrow my eyebrows and ask why.
"Just do it, stop being so difficult," He chuckled while I passed the phone to a confused Cinad.
He got up and walked out of the room leaving me looking clueless on what was going on. Sinking back down in the bed I planned to badger him with questions when he got back in the room.
