Ava.
"Where are you going," I asked Cinad for the hundredth time tonight. I was currently laying down in my bed with a heating pad on my side since my cramps were killing me.
"To handle business A," He repeated tying his all black timberlands up. Rolling my eyes I grabbed the remote to change the channel from a commercial that was playing on TV.
It was going on 11 o'clock at night and he was leaving me all alone when he had all day to do what he had to do.
"You want me to get you anything before I go," He questioned standing up over me, ignoring him I continued watching the rerun of Martin that was on.
Grabbing the remote off the of the bed he turned the tv off, so I could look at him. I gave him a stale look wondering why he was being childish.
"Lose the attitude I told you I'm coming back as soon as I can," He stressed rubbing the sides of his face.
"I have a bad feeling about tonight, I feel like something bad is going to happen," I muttered chewing on my bottom lip.
It wasn't just because, of Cinad the reason I had this bad feeling.
Me and my mom was suppose to go to the nightclub tonight for a big exchange with the Cubans. But with me cramping and barely being able to walk I couldn't go and they refused to meet up for another time.
I suggested she take Jaleel with her but she didn't want to many people to know who was on her team and who wasn't. It makes it harder for competition to strike after you.
Sighing he sat down on the bed beside me and rubbed my cheek gently, "I'm going to be fine, stop worrying man," He spoke looking at me in my eyes.
Nodding my head I gave him a small smile but deep down I was still worried and nervous and I knew it wasn't going to go away.
"Just hurry back and be safe please," I mumbled with a slight pout on my face. Smirking he nodded his head and kissed my forehead before getting up to leave.
Before he left I asked him to bring me my butter pecan ice cream and a thing of caramel to snack on during the night.
I heard the front door close and the start up signaling he was gone.
Turning to Marco Polo on Netlfix, I opened my ice cream and drizzle some of my caramel topping on it.
Relaxing back against the headboard, I tuned in into the TV show.
I just prayed nothing happened to him or my mama tonight and everything would go smoothly as possible.
Cinad.
Pulling into the parking lot of the nightclub I parked all the way in the back where most likely Trisha and Melissa would be coming out at.
"You know what they car look like," Luke asked leaning the seat back to get comfortable. Shaking my head, I looked out the window observing my surroundings.
Since, Ava said she had a bad feeling something was going to happen I actually listen and was trying to stay cautious.
"Ay, how you get that bruise on your face," He asked, ignoring him I pulled out phone to check the time.
Deciding to check on Ava, I sent her a text message to see if she was alright. I knew her cramps was unbearable and she was most likely going to be up all night tossing and turning.
Sliding my phone back into my pocket I tapped my fingers against the steering wheel.
I sat there making up scenarios in my head on how this could play out meanwhile Luke was singing songs from tv shows and movies.
