DYLANS POV
I woke up at 7.00 am. Tired. Why did I have to go to school? Yes of course, school is important so you can get an education etc. but right now I don't care.
All I cared about was a good book, a cup of earl grey, and my bed.
After I had sat in my bed for about a good 10 minutes I got up.
"Good morning sleepyhead" my mom said as I walked down the stairs, my hair tangly, my lips cracked and my cheeks smothered in saliva.
"You look like you're already ready for school?" She smiled to herself, thinking it was a witty comment.
I just groaned, walking into the bathroom to brush my teeth, brush my hair and wash my face.
After that I walked up to my room deciding on what I want to wear today.
I just went with my mom jeans, white long sleeved shirt tucked in, black belt and my black worn out converse.
I looked in the mirror, it doesn't get better than this I guess.
My hair was bigger than ever, frizzy and my curls were annoying as ever. I just took my scrub his and put it in a ponytail.
"Bye mom" I yelled putting on my backpack and walking out the door.C. THOMAS POV
I woke up to my alarm clock ringing, annoyed as ever I turned it off.
I don't like Tuesday's that well. I hate them to be exact.
It's like, sure, Monday is the worst, but then Tuesday is here like; I'm just here as an extra day. Tuesday is the brother to Monday.
"Hi son, how was the movies yesterday?" My dad asked as I sat at the table eating scrambled eggs. I shrugged.
"What's wrong honey?" My mom asked, putting her smooth wrinkled hand on my shoulder, "oh, it's nothing" I said putting on a fake smile.
"So, I got a call from the principal yesterday, is it true that you're going to participate in the drama club?" He grinned. My dad was the kind of dad that supports no matter what. He was the schools most popular kid, and the coolest most talented jock, and also a coach. But in baseball. He says it's relaxing, weird - I know.
"Well it's true dad" I dad drinking the last of my orange juice.
"Well, then I hope you can act son" he giggled
"Well isn't that wonderful, my son, a handsome young man, not just a jock but also a sensitive actor" she smiled taking my empty plate to the dishwasher.
I just sighed.DYLANS POV
"hey watch it geek" Kelly Kabowski, a cheerleader snapped as I stumbled walking past her.
"Sorry" I mumbled. Obviously red in the head as I was embarrassed. I saw how the other cheerleaders grinned with her as they saw me walking past them awkwardly.
School was the same.
Math
Physics
PE
History
English
French
And then drama club
Okay, not to sound selfish or anything, but
I was kind of popular in the drama club. Mostly because my teacher was also my aunt.
Heather Withers. She is a hippie, wearing everything from the 70's.
She's so cool, I think.
"So class today we are starting the auditions for the parts in Romeo and Juliet" she said exaggerating her arm movements.
She went on, discussing on how the characters should be played until the auditorium door opened, we all looked at curiosity. No one ever dared walking into the auditorium - unless you were a "drama geek".
When we saw who it was, everyone turned quiet - most of the girls got excited.
What was he doing here?C. THOMAS POV
I walked to my locker, still exhausted after morning practice. I closed my locker and got a shock as Rachel stood there. Her hair in pigtails with ribbons and her little cheerleader skirt almost showing her butt.
"Hey handsome" she said kissing my cheek
"What do you want?" I asked, clearly not interested - sure, I still loved her, but she fucked my best friend. I don't know if I can ever get passed that, and what if it happens again.
"I want you to forget what has happened" she said walking closer to me, trying to seduce. I grabbed both of her overarms and tried to get her off of me, so that we were apart again. She pouted.
"Fine. You are a bore anyways" she said, walking away. I just looked at her walk away over to her clique.
I saw as her friend tripped the girl I saw yesterday. She was also at the movies, why haven't I seen her before?
The whole day I avoided Steve, I can't forgive, not right now.
So, my day went by pretty slow, and I hated that I had to go to the drama club.
I walked down the empty hallway, until I stood in front of the big door, I took a deep breath and opened it.
Everybody looked at me, I skimmed the crowd.
"Glad you could make it, Mr. Howell" the teacher said, smiling.
I smiled back "my pleasure" I sarcastically said, walking down the stairs realizing how many there were.
"I'm Heather, but you can call me Mrs. Withers" she said pointing towards a chair "you can sit here" she said.
I smiled and sat down, "here's what we're doing for this year, Romeo and Juliet" she winked "and you look like you would make a good Romeo" she complimented, I think?
"Thanks Mrs. Withers" I said looking down, embarrassed.
"So," she started, talking more about the era of Romeo and Juliet and talked about William Shakespeare.
I looked around, there, the girl.A/N
