THOMAS POV
I woke up in the middle of the night, rocks tapping my window. I looked out to see who it might be - Corey, and Johnny.
My two best friends, I've known them since kindergarten.
"Hey Tommy, come with us" they whisper yelled, the weather was pleasant, not too cold or too warm - just the right warmth.
"Where are you going?" I asked them, looking at my watch; 3:01.
"Party, you in?" Corey asked raising his right eyebrow.
"No guys sorry, it's a school night" I yawned
"Urg Tommy come on" Johnny said, not wanting to discuss this
"Sorry guys, but have a great party" I smiled closing my window. They waved and ran off.

DYLAN POV
"Good morning class" my English teacher, mr. Reese said
"Good morning mr. Reese" we all said in unison
"So today we are gonna write an essay" he started "now, can anyone tell me what an essay is" he talked on and on about essays it got boring really fast
I looked out the window, the sun was shining and the sky was blue and not a single cloud appeared
I sighed silent, until someone passes a note to me. I looked to my right, Matt?
He smiled looking at me wanting me to read the paper
I took it and started to read it, I could feel his eyes burning my right cheek.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight at 7pm at the movies, I'll pay"
I smiled to myself, Matt is a "drama geek" like me, we rarely talk - but when we do - he's awfully sweet, and good looking! The girls love him, but keep their distance because he's in the drama club.
I looked at him and nodded, he then smiled and turned his face towards the board.
School day was a drag, nothing happened
Got bullied by some cheerleaders
Had lunch with a cheerleader (which was really weird since Aubrey doesn't eat lunch with me that often, but since it got worse she doesn't care about her reputation anymore)
At the drama club, the roles were announced.
"Sit down class" my aunt said shushing our voices down "I got the roles right here" she said holding a piece of paper, which got me thinking; I actually do hope Thomas will get the Romeo part, I think it would give him a new kind of self esteem.
Everyone got their roles, Matt became Romeos best friend, Mercutio.
I got the role of Juliets "nurse" - it's okay, I wasn't expecting anything.
Anna "boob&ass" bobass got the role of Juliet, she has short blonde hair, and always wears her stonewashed jeans that are so high waisted they almost reach her underboob. Every guy calls her "boobs&ass" cause she has both. I got none. I'm a negative A in the bra department. Okay, exaggerating, but - you get it.
Thomas got the role of Romeo, it took him by surprise and he felt kinda uncomfortable.
"Congratulations" I smiled at him, where did I get all this courage?
"Thanks" he said, looking through the manuscript
"Now I just need to learn all this" he said, chuckling a bit at the end
"Yeah, it's gonna go great" I ironically said
He just chuckled a bit
"Hey so I was thinking, maybe sometime you could help me?" He asked, I just nodded "sounds like a plan"
Just as I finished the sentence Anna came up behind Thomas "I could also help you, now that I'm Juliet" she said, sounding sugar sweet as always, "thanks" he said smiling.
Thomas is now off the market, and every girl wants him, especially Anna. She always talks about him, it's kind of exhausting.
Rachel? Well, Rachel is with Steve now. Typical.
As I got home after a long day i started to get ready for my date.
I borrowed Audrey's floral slip dress, I took a white t-shirt underneath it and my lilac cardigan over it. I took my white hightop converse on, and I was done.
Just a little mascara and that was it. I waited for the mascara to dry so that I could put on my glasses.
After a good 4 hours of reading, getting ready, taking a shower the doorbell rang, I took my satchel and walked downstairs
"Bye mom, love you" I said walking out the door
I saw Matt stand up his convertible, denim jacket, jeans and a white shirt.
"Hi Dylan" he said hugging me
"Hi" I mumbled in his chest
"So, should we?" He asked opening the car door for me, I nodded
As we arrived we had no idea on what we were going to see
"What about that one?" He asked, shyly taking his arm slightly around my shoulder
"Why not?" I smiled walking towards the cashier
"Two tickets to "Stab" a large popcorn and two small cokes" he said to the black haired cashier with a nose ring and way too much eyeliner
After we found our seats and sat down I took off my cardigan "you didn't have to pay for all this" I said looking at him
"I take you out, I pay" he winked eating a popcorn
"Thanks" I smiled
As we saw the horror movie, I wasn't really bothered, horror movies are all just the same.
As the woman walked out, I got a shock since the killer was right around the corner
Matt noticed my shock and took my hand and intertwined our fingers, I smiled. It
felt so good.
After the movie was done we went to a diner, looking like somethings out of the 50's.
We sat down at a booth and a few minutes later a lady comes to us.
"What would you like to order" she asked
"Just two vanilla milkshakes" Matt said smiling
We waited 10 minutes before our milkshakes came
"So, tomorrow my bf Audrey's having a party, and I was wondering if you wanted to join me?" I asked taking a sip of my shake
"I would love to" he smiled "wait, Audrey? The cheerleader?" He asked, I nodded
"Audrey's got the looks and I got the brains" I said laughing
"You're so much more than just.... Smart Dylan" Matt said looking serious
"You think so?" I said looking at him with big eyes, he took me by surprise
He nodded
"I think you're really beautiful"
