Now these are actual experiences of mine, Black Sparrow, now it may seem not seem scary to some people but this freaked me the f*ck out. Now one, was probably my fault but I can't explain many of the others.
Furby
A few years ago I got a Furby. It was a blue one, I called her Taffy. Like the directions say, talk to it and it'll start to learn English. It did. One day the batteries died. When we got the new ones in, it hadn't forgotten how to speak our language. Which my mom said it should have, we brushed it off as nothing.
The batteries died again. It took a few months before we replaced them. I was excited to see my Furby working again. But disappointment stormed over me when it didn't turn on. After a few minutes of trying I gave up. I threw it in my closet. I remember saying these exact words.
"If that thing turns on, I'm running out of here."
I was later in my room, headphones blaring. The lights were out and I was on my top bunk, it was night. My family was still awake though. I remember hearing a muffled voice through my earbuds. I took them out.
I know this sounds really stupid, and I feel dumb every time I talk about it, mainly because of the fact that I said I would leave if it turned on, but I'm not joking when I say I walked up to my closet and its eyes were glowing and it was talking.
You need to actually move these guys to wake them up. I was scared sh*tless! I got out of that room as quick as possible.
We've gotten rid of it but dear lord, I've never liked Furbies since.Knocking
This one just happened about a month or two ago (it's July 5th 2016 when I'm writing this). I was trying to sleep when I heard tapping coming from my stairs leading up to my top bunk. My eyes shot open. That soon turned into louder knocking. My cat has gotten into one of the drawers on it once, but I was never sure how. But at that moment, she was on my stomach, sleeping. It moved around my stairs, becoming quieter. It eventually stopped, but it wasn't the first time I've heard it.
I've been up late at night and heard it in my hallway. I kid you not.Falling
This is the one that might be my fault. I was really mad one night and trying to draw, but kept failing, so I kept erasing. Though I kept doing harder and harder. Then, all of a sudden, the knitted cupcake my aunt had given me, fell.
I got out of there quicker than one of my rabbits running from me.Screaming
Back when I was in second grade, this is my first terror, I hated sleeping by myself. I was a big baby, and was always scared to sleep alone. So I would go into the living room and sleep on the couch, or sleep right in front of my parents door.
One night I chose to sleep in front of there door. Now I lived out in the country and had only one neighbor, and he was a man and lived quite a ways from us.
So, I was trying to sleep when this ear piercing female shriek breaks the silence.
My parents tell me it was probably an animal being killed, but it still scares me to this day.Crashing
I was in third grade when this happened I think. I had just started coming home by myself while my parents were working.
I remember I was sitting on my couch, probably doing homework when I heard a crash in my parents room. Now my cat and dog were both in the living room so I was freaked out.
It happened twice through out the whole time I was coming home from school, by myself. And it was the exact same noise.
Now that may not seem scary to a teen but I was only nine or ten, imagine being that old, in your house by yourself, and hearing crashing. You'd be scared too. Don't even try to lie.Whelp, thanks for reading this, now not all of these are scary, but whatever. But I hope you all have a creeptastic day/night. Bye!
