After twenty minutes of weeping, the other bodies had gathered around Kristine. Glancing up Kristine realized the other strangers had huddled up around her and Sevin. "Why isn't he waking up?" Kristine asked, her voice cracking and unsteady.
The blue eyed stranger spoke. "There's no one in him, he's like an empty vessel at the moment."
Kristine stated at him blankly, confused. "Is there a way to wake him up?"
"Assuming we can all go back into him, before his body wears out, he should go back to normal and wake up."
"Who are you all?" Calvin asked cautiously.
The blue eyed male turned his gaze toward him, "I am Ashton, that's Paul," he pointed to the red eyed man who stood beside Teron. "Over there is April and Felix, Sevin kind of had a conversation with all of you about us before, we are his multiple personalities."
"So that means you're on our side?" Teron asked, "And you're all willing to go back into Sevin."
"As soon as we strike a deal," smirked Paul, earning a glare from April.
April approached and smiled. "Yes, we are on your side," she responded as soon as she finished shadow boxing at Paul's arm.
Teron and Felix each grabbed one of Sevin's arms, halling him up.
"Where are we taking him?" Kristine questioned.
"Back to my place," responded Teron, turning to lead the way along the forest path.
Every five meters, Felix and Teron would re-adjust their hold on Sevin across their shoulders, so that he wasn't dragging so much on the ground. Within half an hour, they had reached the cottage and placed Sevin on the mattress in the bedroom.
"It's one o'clock, isn't Sevin's family going to be worried about him?" Kristine asked the crowd.
"His family is down in the city," Ashton responded, "only his brother is home, and he won't realize he's missing. All we have to do is pop him a message on the phone and he'll never bother us."
"What exactly do we say?" asked Paul. "Sevin's comatose and won't be home for a while so leave us alone."
Teron grabbed Sevin's phone and scowled at Paul. "Does anyone know the pin?"
Silence followed the question and all the other halfs looked at each other questioningly. "I've never had to use the phone," responded Felix. "I mean, when we take control, we're just happy to be free for a short while. We don't really pay attention to the little things."
"Okay, give me that." Ashton held out his hand for the phone. "Logic would say that it should be something we would all know unconsciously so...."
Taking the phone, he glanced at it for a moment and then looked up, staring at the wall for a moment before he started to type something on the keys. The phone suddenly lit up and the background changed.
"You did it," Teron exclaimed. "So what was it."
Ashton smiled. "I don't know, I just randomly pushed things that seemed familiar sort of like they came to me unconsciously."
"So now, what do we say to his brother?" Kristine asked again, frowning at Paul and his previous suggestion.
"Oh, oh, I know, I know," interrupted April enthusiastically. "This is Kristine, your bother fell asleep watching a movie, so he's going to stay overnight at our house." She glanced at Kristine and raised her eyebrows, hinting at something.
"Oh really," Kristine responded blushing.
"No, that's good. No one will look for Sevin then until around noon tomorrow," Calvin agreed taking the phone from Ashton to send the message. They all waited in silence to see if there would be a response but other than the message being read, nothing was sent back.
