Life on Permos... no one still alive knows how it all started; though both science and religion have their resolutions. In truth, life on Permos started after a group of exiled alien life forms came across a frozen planet. Surveys revealed no life was present on the frozen planet but it had potential. Similar to their planet, Permos was part of the galaxy nearest to that of the alien's, with all the key factors for life: water, land, a source of light and heat. The difference was that the sun's searing blue flames werecounteracted by Permos's two moons.

There was one problem. Permos's ice-covered tundra was too harsh to be habitable. Their race thrived in heat and could bare the cold but not in its current state. The alien life form landed; it's not easy to find a planet that is habitable. After landing they soon died from the hypothermia. The landing caused turmoil in the ecosystem; the massive dark cloud of carbon dioxide caused a rise in the green house effect gradually increasing the planets temperature. The bacteria and other micro organisms on board the ship survived. A couple billion years later, evolution finally took its toll...

The alien race, its planets resources nearly depleted and with a population that was exceeding its ability to therefore survive. With the need to expand, they sent out drones in a mission to locate habitable planes....During the 500s of Permos's time. The alien race reached Permos to conquer it. When the aliens came to Permos they brought worms from their planets that were supposed to make Permos a planet that would favor their species. However, because of our second moon the worms excreted a gas that affected Permos's inhabitants allowing every mundane to use magic; witchcraft. Having the ability to use magic evened the battle field using it to defend ourselves.

After fending off the aliens, we still had this "magic". We started to use this magic in many ways, for good and evil, such as: a curse was placed on a tribe turning them to centaurs, creatures that are half horse and half human; splicing a feline and an eagle creating griffins....

One day a person known as Pablo Calibro acquired an incredible, powerful, magical ability. On the fateful night of a full moon where the two moons eclipse one another merging their solar light, he purified the air by directing the magical gas towards the moon. The solar light created a path for the gas to follow, preventing the use of magic. However, some people still had magic for themselves, the gas affected their DNA and when the moons overlapped every month their power would increase dramatically for that night. Another consequence of this transfer of magic was the transformation of some individuals in grave danger into different creatures. People bitten by a wolf were turned into a creature half man and half wolf; werewolves. People drowning, turned into a creature with the upper body human and the bottom half fish called mermaids/mermen. People dying from lack of blood became somewhere between dead and undead, craving human blood; vampires.

Those who could still possess the power of magic were called witches. When a mundane wedded a witch their offspring's DNA coded differently causing variations in the wielding of magic. After countless generations, the human beings grew envious of the in-humans' powers, resulting in a war between the two groups....
