Twins. 15 years ago two wonderful children were born into the Vargas family. Their mother Leila left them to be with some man named Benji, leaving only one man to care for the girls. Their father Lovino Vargas. It had been a very long time since the kids had been born, but now watching them go off to high school, he realized it only felt like seconds, his girls were already preparing to leave him. And he wasn't sure how to handle that...

Lovino had remarried when his daughters were 4  years old, he married Antonio Carriedo who helped raise the girls as though they were his own, and didn't ask for anything in return. Sonya and Maya were amazing girls, and sometimes Lovino couldn't help but wonder if that was his doing, or his husbands. Of course he never disliked his lover for this, it was just the fact that curiosity ate away at him nearly every day since he had asked himself  the question.

Toni was outside in the garden, just as the Italian father had thought.  He quietly walked over to the man, putting a cup of coffee down on the outside table for him, " The girls have left for the day, do we have anything that has to be done before they get back?" The spanish male looked up before smiling at his husband, " Not today Lovi, today we get to stay home." Lovino was at peace for a second after those wonderful words, until he realized what he had been called. " Don't call me that you stupid bastard!"  he yelled loudly before  walking back inside their yellow painted house.

Lovino and Antonio lay on the couch, it was about a half hour before the girls got home and they were spending it cuddling and watching television together. " Maya called me earlier during the school day, she said she has something she has to tell us, and that Sonya has to as well." Toni said randomly. The Italian shrugged off the feeling he had that they were going to say they wanted to go and live with their mother, it had been his fear for years, and now he couldn't help but worry if he had been right to have it.

Maya walked in the door first, with Sonya close at her heels, quiet greeting from everyone rang in the tense air, and Toni was the one to break the awkward silence by saying, " So both of you needed to speak with us?" The girls could only look at each other before turning back to their fathers and nodding, " We do... But Maya should probably say hers first." Sonya whispered before looking  at her sister expectantly. " D-dad... the thing is... when we were around eight we found a letter on the table, we saw it said moms name, and we were worried about her maybe wanting to get back together with you. You were so happy with Toni that we hid it and hoped you didn't find it... you never did... but we just did and we read it... dad i'm so sorry for hiding the note and what it had in it, we-we're not your kids, mom figured it out... i'm sorry d-Lovino we'll pack up and leave for our mothers right away."

Lovino stood  in complete shock, his hands were clenched next to him, there were tears glistening in his amber ords, this couldn't be true... Maya and Sonya were... his girls. He suddenly took off up the stairs and found himself standing at his daughters bedroom, or what it had once been. The walls had nothing on them anymore but white paint, the floor was bare and cold on his feet as he walked into the room. He crumbled to the ground before covering his face with his hands. He had imagined it all, anything that they were involved in past the age of eight was a lie, he had lost them when he found out, and he hadn't seen either of his beautiful girls since.

Toni watched from the doorway as the broken man he loved so dearly cried over something that had happened seven years ago, he knew he couldn't help, and let him cry it out before picking the whimpering younger male up into his arms, and bringing him to bed to sleep. When even the whimpering ceased and everything was quiet, little feet patted gently on the hard wood floor, his girls were gone but their memory still remained, torturing him every day, " daddy I can't sleep." and thus the cycle of insanity had begun again.

I hope you Enjoyed this chapter!
