So after a while of talking with Jan
The truth came out.
And she knew about my secret
And I thought I was going to lose my best friend to a stupid lie…
Great, just what I needed. To lose someone else
After Andrew’s incident, I still wasn’t stable yet
And this was just going to tip the scale..
But to my surprise, she didn’t judge me
She said she didn’t except it
But she could tolerate it and wouldn’t ask me to stop.
Which, looking back on it now, is a good thing and a bad thing.
Good reasons:
She was respecting my life and my decisions.
She knew I didn’t want to lose Tre, and I would have if she told him.
She let me live in my perfect world for a little longer.
Bad reasons:
It wouldn’t have had to lead to the sadness that later came from it.
I wouldn’t have gotten hurt as much. (The faster done, the easier).
Maybe if she did tell me to stop, or threatened to tell tre the truth, I would have stopped here.
But she did respect it, and so the lie continues.
As it drags another player onto the table.
