WHTL. Chapter 17- Tre's Story (part five)

Whenever we would talk, I felt as if he would force me to do things

That I didn’t want to do.

But I felt like I had to do because I was his girlfriend.

He would take advantage of me,

Then ignore me for two weeks straight.

Then call me up at 2 am and expect me to talk with him for hours.

And I went along with it.

My grades started dropping.

My whole life felt as if I was wasting it.

And then one day, I texted him.

I told him I loved and missed talking to him.

And his sister texted me back.

She said Tre didn’t want to talk to me anymore.

I was so confused and hurt.

The next day I called him up and his ‘new girlfriend’ answered the phone.

“Umm, who is this?” she said sounding like a Barbie doll.

“It’s Sarah, um is Tre there?”

“Yea, but were kind of busy (giggles)”

I hear him in the background say he doesn’t know anyone named Sarah.

Then she hung up the phone.

I wasn’t as sad as I was angry.

I should have seen it coming, honestly.

But I didn’t cry, I don’t really do that much.
