Coulson's POV
"Let me get this straight, she saved your life and somehow magically guided the plane?" Fury's voice echoed through the room.
"Sir, It's possible Professor Xavier was able to enhance her capability of her powers to allow her to control them." I reasoned with him
"But in one month's time? I don't think so..." Fury replied unconvinced.
"What are you suggesting then sir?" Hill spoke up from her seat at the end of the glass conference table.
"That its likely she couldve been assisted."
"By what? Another Hydra agent?"
"Possibly. But why would they let her live if they've been hunting for her for the past few months." One of the things we kept quite about from Katrina was that Hydra was on the look out for her. They seem to have some need for her or maybe they think she knows too much. Which is part of the reason why we had her removed from S.H.I.E.L.D HQ and into the X mansion.
"Why don't we ask the young Ms. STARK ourselves then." Fury got up and began to make his way for the door.
Katrina's POV
More than a year since the tragic accident of the Stark couple leaving everyone to wonder, "who will reclaim the company?" Here's an interview with the son of Howard Stark himself-
The Television glowed eerily through the darkness of my room. I turned it off after hearing the news about my family. I didn't want to be reminded of it and seeing Tony out there was not only a restriction but it would ruin everything for me. Knowing he's probably living a much better and simpler life than I.
Natasha and Clint were on another mission somewhere in Tim buck two as Director Fury calls it. I could always read his mind and find out where they actually are but I decided to leave it confidential.
Apparently keeping me in my room is the best idea of keeping me safe. From what? I don't know.
I decided to play with my powers and watched as small purple sparks emerged from my palm. It was weak but strong enough to be seen. It fascinated me, how all this was somehow in my body, commanding it to perform something like this, it truly was magic.
"Practicing I see." A voice startled me from behind.
I turned around to see an all too familiar man except he wasn't wearing his armor this time. "Loki you came." I smiled up at him to which he returned.
"I'm afraid it's not for long though and not for a good cause either." He said sympathetically as he crouched down next to me on the carpet. He stared curiously at the television screen. He sighed deeply as if questioning what it was but not wanting to ask.
"How are you Kat?" Somehow the way he said it felt all too familiar, as if he actually cared how I was doing. "I'm alright, well I'm not actually. " I admitted. " I feel like everyone's keeping secrets from me, they think they're protecting me but in reality they're only hurting me more." I felt a pang of guilt as she said those words. I knew the pain. I lived with it everyday. "It's as if you don't belong." We said in unison. I grinned at her, she knew.
"Kat there's a reason why I've come here."
"To help me train?" She asked hopefully, getting up with me in the process.
"Err no." I hung my head low.
"Katrina please understand me when I say this. Your powers are a gift to you but to others they are a burden. And because of this I see if necessary to take them away temporarily till you have matured enough."
