Falling for Darkness(Tom Riddle) Harry potter fic

Selene's parent's didn't want her anymore because she was different from the family, she could do things that no one else could, they had put her up for Adoption at the age of 9 at the Kings Cross Orphanage where she meets up with Tom, A young boy just like her, As they grow closer throughout their childhood and enter the world of Hogwarts things slowly change, Tom changes leaving Selene in the dust... Will they be able to work it out or will Tom chose the dark side instead of the one girl who loves him the most?

“You two must be the Trenchard's..” I was only 10 years old when I walked into the Kings Cross Orphanage, I stood looking around as kids ran about I wasn't quiet sure why my mommy and Daddy were getting rid of me I had cried to them to let me stay with them but they drug me into the car and brought me here to this place, my eye's had landed on A young boy who looked different from the others as the tears rolled down my cheeks I turn and my parent's were leaving, I didn't quiet understand what I had done wrong for them to leave me here with people I didn't know the lady walked towards me with A warm welcoming smile.

“Tom dear, would you be kind enough to show Selene to her new room?”

“Yes Mrs. Cole”

Mrs. Cole smiled warmly watching as we walked down the hallway quietly, he then stopped in front of a door and opened it, there was one bed and a dresser, A window that outviewed the streets, I put my bag down on the bed and sat at the edge.

“Lunch will be ready around noon Mrs. Cole usually comes to the rooms to get us.” It was his first thing he had said to me.

I smiled weakly, “I'm not that hungry.”

It looked as if he were hesititating to come in fully but he did and closed the door behind him, “Your parent's didn't want you either?” Tom asks.

I shake my head, “No they say I was different from them.” I sigh softly looking down.

Mrs. Cole had come to each room to get us all for lunch, Tom and I walked slowly behind everyone else, I had a feeling that we were going to be good friends because we were both different from the others, and could do more things then the other kids could ever do. Lunch went by quickly and were now outside for the afternoon enjoying the sunshine, we were lying under a big oak tree looking up at the clouds pointing and laughing.

“You two are freaks, I see you made your match there Tom.” A boy says running passed us laughing.

“Ignore them, their just jealous because were different.” He smiled, I sat up with A small smile for the first time I felt like I was at home, he made me feel that way.

Tom and I were now tweleve neither of us having any luck on people coming into adopt us, I was in Tom's room that morning setting on his bed as he sat at the desk, the door opened slowly and a old man had appeared at the door, we both stared at each other and back at him.

“Hello Tom, Selene, I'm Professor Dumbledore.” He smiles setting next to me on the bed.

“Are you the one who wants to take us away? Were not mad.” Tom says, I stayed quiet as everything in the room went back to it's normal place.

“No Tom, I am not here to take you and Selene to that place, You two can do things, different things am I correct?”

We both nod staring at each other then back at him again, “How are we supposed to know if your telling the truth or not?” I ask quietly.

The man smiles, I could hear a sound from the closet, Tom slowly stood up walking over opening it up carefully as the flames blazed inside and a few things had been thrown out, A few toys Tom and I had stolen from some children that were being mean to us earlier that week, “I will not tolarate this at my school you two, you will learn how to control magic at your own pace.” he says standing up. “I will see you next week.” he added with A smile.
