Selene woke up feeling groggy from last night, the flashback of Tom slapping her had come to mind, she felt a tear roll down her cheek as she stood up walking over to the mirror she noticed the hand print on her cheek not realizing how hard he had slapped her, her heart dropped as she traced the hand print she slowly got out her makeup from the drawer and laid it all around her desk and sat in the chair, she could hear the door open and looked over seeing Alex standing there, I smile weakly.

“Morning Alex.” I whisper softly applying some makeup on, he walked over and his eyes widened.

“God Selene, what happened?” He asked moving some hair out of my face to get a better look, but I slapped his hand away shaking my head as I continued applying my makeup on.

“Just a accident is all.” I whisper softly.

“Doesn't look like a accident to me Selene, who did this to you?” He demanded bending down to where my eyes were on his, I turn facing my reflection in the mirror, “Tom did this didn't he? That's why your hiding it, your protecting him.” Alex says standing up, “Selene, he has no right to hit a girl, he should be taught a lesson.” he added in walking out of the room.

I hit my forehead putting on my shoes grabbing my wand and ran after him, “Alex!” I screamed running down the hall once I was out of the Gryffindor Tower I could hear people screaming around the corner as I turn I noticed Alex and Tom fighting

“Kill him!” Someone screamed in the crowd.

I looked over at Tom who had his wand up and ready to aim it towards Alex, “Avada......” But he stopped as soon as I stepped in front of Alex my eyes on Tom pleading to not hurt him, he cleared his throat putting away his wand glaring at Alex, “This isn't over Goggans.” He spat then his eyes locked with my very own, she bit down on her lower lip bringing her wand out pointing it straight at Tom, smirking she rose her wand up, “Stupefy!” Putting away her wand she smiled satisfied as Tom went flying into the hall and onto the floor, she walked over standing over him her hair fell in his face, her lips close to his which had scent shivers down her spine, “Game on Riddle...” She whispers kissing his lips softly walking over him and took a hold of Alex's hand walking down to the Great Hall for breakfast.

“That was Brilliant Selene.” Alex says as we entered the Great Hall all eyes were on us at the Slytherine table, I smirk setting down at the Gryffindor table as the breakfast appeared on our plates.

“I'm not entirely sure what had come over me, I shouldn't have done that.” I whispered to Alex taking a bite of my pancakes after pouring syrup on them.

“He deserved it Selene, lesson learned.” he smiled at me.

I looked over at the entrance seeing Tom walk inside moments later brushing off his robes, he scanned the room until his eyes stopped on me, he began to walk over and grabbed me by the arm dragging me out of the Great Hall pushing me against the the brick wall blocking me from either side, his eyes never leaving mine, “That was uncalled for Selene.” He spat hitting the wall beside her making her jump in fear, she looked into his eyes.

Her hand slowly moved towards his face, she placed it there on his cheek moving some hair away from his face, it seemed to have soothed him because he had calmed down moments later, my breathing was shallow from earlier, our eyes never left each others, “What's happening to you Tom?” I whisper softly, his lips against mine as he spoke.

“Nothing that concerns you.” He says closing the gap between us and the gap between our lips, his kiss was welcoming, our lips moved together as my eyes slowly closed, my fingers traveled in his hair, I loved the silky feeling between my fingers as I did this, my arms went around his neck moments later, our lips parted moments later our foreheads touching as we only herd the sound of our Shallow breathing with A few kids passing by whispering and giggling.

Everyone soon began to walk out of the Great Hall, Tom moved back clearing his throat a bit, “See you in Potions.” he said walking away, A huge grin spread across my face as Alex walked out of the Great Hall moments later.

“What the bloody hell did he want?” Alex asked.

“Alex, I'm his girlfriend.. he can see me when he pleases.” I continued to smile.

“I don't understand why you want to be with someone like him, I have bad vibes when he's around.” He explains handing me my books, I smile taking them as we begin to walk to our first class which was Defense against the dark arts.

“I see the true side of him Alex, I always have.” I smile weakly setting in the back row with Alex in class, When Tom was 10 I never could have imagined him being so cruel like he is now, he was never abusive towards me until we got older he had changed but I tried to not let that bother me as much, Dumbledore's voice echoed through the speakers “A student as gone missing this morning, all classes are dismissed go back to your houses.”

Alex and I both exchange looks as we gathered our books, I picked up my book bag and began to walk out, “Selene where are you going?” Alex called.

“I need to see Tom.” I say running out of the room and down the hall before Alex could catch up I was already up the stairs once they had stopped I nearly bumped into Tom, he looked dumbfounded.

“Did you hear the news?” I ask quietly.

“Ah yes, A Ravenclaw missing..” Tom says standing there in front of me, I stare at him blankly.

“No one said what house she was in, but yes I suppose.” I whisper softly. “Before I forget Tom, I had bought you something at Hogsmade, I'm not sure what it would do for you but it might come n handy one day.” I say pulling it out of the bag, A brown journal. “Something had told me to buy this for you that day, so I hope it comes in handy one day.” I whisper softly.

Tom looked down taking the journal from my hand flipping the pages, “Ah yes, it'll come in great use.” Tom says pulling something out of his pocket aswell, “I also bought you something that afternoon..” He opened the box picking me up from the staircase and put me back down in front of him, “It's to say I'm... well you know.” he was messing with the collar of his shirt, I giggled softly with a smile spread across my face,

“I forgive you.” I whisper softly closing the gap between us once more kissing his lips softly, our lips parted once again to soon his taste lingered on my lips, he took my hand in his sliding the ring onto my finger his lips pressed against mine once again, “I love you Tom.” It was the first time I had ever said that to him, he tensed up A bit hearing those three words.

“Love is A strong word Selene...” Tom whispers.

“And I mean it when I tell you, I love you.” I say again looking into his eyes with A small smile spread across my lips, “You don't have to say it back if you don't want to, I just wanted you to know.” I tell him with A weak smile picking my things up and put my bag over my shoulders, “I should get back to my house.” I whisper softly and began to walk towards the Gryffindor common room, but felt A hand grab mine turning me around, our bodies against each others.

“I love you too Selene.” Tom whispers letting me go turning his back to me and began to walk to the Slytherine house.
