Hogwarts Express

Tom and Selene were in their separate rooms getting ready to go back to Hogwarts, it was their sixth year and they had both made prefects for their own house, Selene couldn't wait to go back but as for Tom he had the care less mood like he always does when it's almost time for Hogwarts to let every student return, Tom stood at his desk and looked down at the drawer as he opened it slowly A silver necklace had appeared there, the necklace he was planning to give Selene to protect her through her sixth year and seventh year it had only his blood and A protection spell on the necklace itself he held it close to his heart turning and began to walk out of the room, walking down the dark hallway as everyone slept he had A smile spread across his face, he was A lucky kid at 10 to find someone like Selene he got to the door and knocked, he could hear shuffling in the room and the door opened slowly and there she stood the girl of his dreams, “Hello Tom..” She moved back as I walked into the room she closed the door quietly.

“I hear you got Prefect of the year..” Tom says setting on the bed.

I nod with A smile, “I did, and congratulations on prefect of the year yourself, I told you that you could do it.”

Tom laughs, “Thank you, I couldn't have done it without you.”

Selene blushed lightly, “I didn't do much, you did half of it yourself.”

I stare at her, she was beautiful I'm not quiet sure why I deserved to have someone so beautiful as Selene, “This year will be A bit different Selene, we won't see much of each other..” I started off, seeing her smile turn into A frown, “We will make it work, I'll send a owl to you when we can meet up and where, we have to keep our reputation at Hogwarts it's important.”

Selene stared at Tom a moment, “I don't understand why we can't be like a regular couple Tom, I'm just like you.”' she says softly. “The only time we ever get close is here at the Orphanage.”

“I know love, we will make time, it will work.” Tom would repeat. “I want to give you something, you have to promise to never take it off, to wear it all the time.” he pleaded holding up a necklace as he clamped it around her neck moving her hair out of the way, she looked down at it and smiled weakly.

“I promise I won't take it off.” She whispers, my eye's locked onto hers, bringing her face closer to mine our lips touched, her lips were soft against mine we soon parted and our foreheads were touching, she smiled warmly. “Stay with me tonight?”

“If you want me to.” I tell her, she nods scooting over against the wall as I got under the covers with her we laid there quietly and drifted off to sleep ready to go back to Hogwarts.

The sun had shown brightly through the window, Selene squinted her eyes moving closer to Tom as he moved nearly a inch and opened his eye's slowly, the door opened slowly and there stood Mrs. Cole, Tom and I both scrambled to our feet, he stared at me a moment before kissing my lips softly, “I'm not sure what they allow you two to do at that school, but it's not tolerated here we have children wondering about.”

Tom began to walk out of the room and looked at her. “Sorry, it won't happen again.”

“It certainly will not.” She said, “Your cab is waiting outside to take you two to the train station.” She added walking out of the room, Tom stared at me and we both laughed it off , Tom and I have been together since the first of fourth year it's been a difficult ride but I was welling to make it work I knew Tom was the one for me, I picked up my suitcase and looked back once again at the room smiling I turned the light out and closed the door, a few girls walked down the hall staring and giggling I grew to ignore it after all these years, I met Tom outside the Orphanage, it began to rain as we put our suitcases in the trunk, Tom had closed the trunk for me and opened the door, I smiled getting inside scooting over, he soon got inside and closed the door himself, I look back to see Mrs. Cole watching, Tom put his arm around my waist holding me close during the ride, I knew the train ride would be boring because Tom would be with his friends and I would be with mine.

We soon arrived and were seated in the train after going through 91/3, I was with my house and he was with his, I rested my head against the seat but noticed the door open from the compartment A boy around my age with brown hair and brown eyes walked inside, “Do you mind if I set here? The rest are taken.” He seemed friendly enough, I smile weakly.

“I don't mind, but since were going to be spending the whole ride to Hogwarts together, my name is Selene.. this is my sixth year.” I say introducing myself.

The boy smiled, “Alexander, but Alex for short, it's my sixth here aswell I was transferred from the old boys school to Hogwarts this year, my parent's thought it would be best for me.” He explained.

I smile, “Nice to meet you Alex.”

Alex had that smile on his face again, “And it's nice meeting you Selene, which by the way is a beautiful name, very uncommon.” He tells me, I knew he was flirting.

Blushing I looked up, “I didn't know, and thank you.” I say.

Alex smiled moving his index finger over to my cheek moving a strand of hair out of my face, I could hear the compartment door open my eyes slowly moved from Alex to Tom, I stood up walking over towards him, his eyes never left Alex.

“Tom this is Alex, he just transferred here, Alex this is Tom... my boyfriend.” I say running my fingers through my long brown hair feeling the tension in the compartment growing, I pushed Tom out and closed the door.

“What were you doing in there with him?”

My smile fell into A frown, my brown eyes looked up at his, “He was only being friendly, as was I.”

“Looked like flirting to me., I could see in his eyes that he wanted to snog you Selene, you best watch the people you let get close to you, they could turn on you just like that.” Tom whispered.

“I need to get back in, I should change into my robes were just about there.” I say softly, I knew he was only looking out for me but sometimes I just wish he would look less, I stood and watched him walk away until he turned the corner and couldn't see him anymore, I walked back inside gathering my robes looking over at Alex.

“You should change into your robes, we will be there shortly.”

I showed Alex the bathroom and went into the girls bathroom, I changed into my school robes and looked in the mirror one last time with a smile across my face, as I walked out I said hello to a few people, I passed the Slytherine compartment to see Tom setting with his group of friends, his eyes looked up into mine. I smile weakly walking passed it and back into my very own compartment and sat there waiting to arrive at Hogwarts.
