Luke rubbed his hands on his face as he watched his parents put their last bags inside the car along with Ben and Jack's. All of them were going on a trip to the other side of the state while Luke stayed at home, which was unfair to him. It's not that he wanted to go, if anything he hated family vacation, but this time his aunt was coming to take care of him while he was gone and he constantly tried to convince his mom not to call the old lady.

He loved his aunt. She was nice but always smelled like soap and carried two orange cats who liked to jump on the furniture and break many things like Luke's procelain from when he was a baby, plates and his parent's wedding photos. The old lady always blamed it on the blond since her cats were way too precious and saint to do such thing but he didn't complain and just listened.

"But mother, she hasn't got in the bus yet, there is no need for her to come. I am eighteen years old, I need to try and look after my self."

"Lucas." she said, grabbing his hands "Don't be a stubborn person. Aunt Janice loves you and you love the cats, it's going to be just fine."

"But-" he interrupted himself when she sent him a knowing look, telling him to stop with that "Fine, but can I still go to that date with Madeline tomorrow?"

She smiled at the mention of the girl "Of course! I left money inside your cupboard so you can be a gentleman and pay dinner, maybe a present even!" his mother smiled and kissed his cheek "My Lukey all grown up."

"Come on Elizabeth!" his father called and they said their last goodbyes before getting in the car and driving away.

Luke walked inside the house and closed the door behind him with a sigh. There were still three hours until his aunt came so he had plenty of time to choose his clothes for the date next day and listen to music, maybe take a walk. He sat down in the couch in front of the television and turned it on, noticing it was some show his mom liked to watch.

He started thinking about the date and how he didn't want to go. Madeline was an enchanting girl, she was sweet and smart. Everyone wanted her and she picked Luke to go out with her but he didn't feel like it. He just wasn't... attracted to her. She was beautiful but Luke couldn't bring himself to want to kiss her and hold her hand and he thought it was weird, he used to think like that when he was 13 and it was weird already so he forced himself.

Luke got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen. He grabbed a knife and cut a slice of fruit cake, biting it.

"So, it's been a few months. How are you doing?" a voice said and he jumped, letting out a squeak.

It was a boy, a familiar one. As soon as he saw the hazel eyes that have been hauting his thoughts for 4 months he knew it was the tramp-boy. For some reason he wanted to find out his name desperately and get to know him better but he couldn't, the boy was a tramp. Even with the fact that he was a tramp and part of the lowest social status in the whole world he was incredibly handsome and Luke might have done... stuff while thinking about him. But just for the first 2 months, he eventually forgot about the tramp, totally did.

"What-what are you doing here? How did you even get into my house?!"

"Easy there, baby boy." the hazel-eyed boy said, biting an apple "I kind of slept in your backyard last night while I was running from the cops but don't worry, I'll be gone in no time. The name's Ashton, by the way." he winked.

Luke tried to avoid thining about how hot Ashton looked leaning with his back against the kitchen counter or how the black clothes gave him some kind of weird magic. Ashton was staring at him while Luke observd his body with his mouth slightly open.

"Like what you see, Lukey?" he said and Luke gulped.

"Listen you-you have to leave right now. I can't risk you being seen here!"

"Do you want me to leave?"

"What?" Luke asked, leaning with his back against the wall as Ashton walked closer to him.

"Do you want me to leave?" Ashton put the apple on the table and whispered on Luke's ear "Are you scared? I'm not gonna hurt you, baby boy."

Luke let out a shaky breath and stared at Ashton's eyes while the older bit his bottom lip. He analyzed his face and it was pretty clean, for a tramp.

"My father says I shouldn't talk to people like you." Luke said, staring at the floor and playing with his hands.

"And what am I?" Ashton started "A rebel? A tramp? There is nothing wrong with breaking the rules sometimes, baby boy."

As Luke was gaining courage to get Ashton closer there was a knock on the front door. He instantly remembered his aunt who was coming to see him for two weeks. The woman yelled his name from the outside, her shrieky voice echoing through the halls and bothering Luke already.

"I know, I have to go but don't forget one thing." the older said before whispering on Luke's ear "People aren't always what you expect them to be."

Luke nodded and the tramp walked throught the backdoor that led to an empty yard behind the backyards of everyone's houses. He sighed and walked to his front door, opening and offering a warm smile to his aunt along with a sincere apology for taking so long. The cats hissed at him and he sighed, those were going to be long weeks.
