Eve's pov

Sleep.

That's all I wanted, but that didn't happen.

Luke wouldn't sit still.

And his mumbles, he kept saying the same things over and over.

"No"

"Eve's scared of me"

And moaning noises.

I have no idea what time it is, but Lukes arm was around me, stuffing me inside his chest.

And his leg was wrapped on to me.

I felt like I was a stick, and he was a sloth. Or a koala, and I couldn't move.

Lukes pov

Rage filled as I chased after her. She doesn't understand how much she means to me. She never will, cause I don't know how to tell her. I don't want to send a text. She needs to know in person. She means the world to me.
I followed Eve in to a old barn. I had no idea what for but I followed. Before I opened the door I braced myself. I didn't know what to do or say.
Inside I could hear the sounds of screaming.

"Eve?!" I panicked pushing open the door.

Inside I saw her laying there, curled up into a ball.

I fell to my knees, lifted her head up.

"No" I cried out, holding her to my chest.

I should have told her. I should have told her how much she met to me.

"I'm sorry" she spoke.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't want to hurt you anymore" she spoke, her voice got softer.

Grabbing under her knees I lifted her up and started to run.

Before I could get to the hospital, her grip on me got looser and looser, I wasnt ready.

"No, no, no stay" I cried as I screamed for help.

I watched as everyone surrounded her.

I followed.

That's when everything switched.

I watched as she sat in a hospital gown, the doctor, was trying everything.

Where were her parents.

I watched as the doctor looked at me signaling for me to come in.

The tears streaming down my face.

I'm not ready to loose her, I'm not going to loose my best friend.

As soon as I got in the room, silence filled my ears, followed by a sharp, sharp beep.

"No stay" I cried as the doctors came in, putting the defibrillator on to her chest, screaming clear.
