BLOOD RED!

Bloody hell

"Damn " I cursed as I awoke heaving from the nightmare.... this happened all the time but so far no one as intense as this one....I groaned as I got out of bed knowing there will be no more sleep for me at the moment .
I looked at the clock resting on the wall and sighed. It was two o.clock " at least I got three hours of sleep "I grumbled as I trudged down the stairs instantly craving ng a cup of coffee.
I put the coffee beans in the percolator and saw the high pile of mail awaiting my perusal "oh well, might as well get some work done if I'm not sleeping" I mumbled and then I got to work putting the maile into neat piles and by priority. Don't judge me....I admit I kinda....sorta...have a teensy weeny bit of O. C .D....what can I say , its an occupational hazard.. Running a multi million dollar interior design company needs organisation.... I'm still muling over a proposal when I see a bright red and black card ....I pick it up and see that its a party for one of the companies i just built an alliance with I rolled my eyes and was about to throw it away when a particular name caught my attention , my breath hitched in my throat , I couldn't believe this.... it felt like I'd been kicked in the gut ..why did it have to come up now. So I did the first thing I could , I reached for my phone and dialed Alejandra's number my good friend and assistant. a groggy "hello ??" Was the first thing she said, not even stopping to realize that I probably woke her up I blurted the first coherent thought at that moment"Alejandra!,,,.... He's here!"
"Who?"she replied confusedly. my eyes strayed to the card again and eyed the name of the one person I never hoped to come across again
Nick!...NICHOLAS MONSALVE , he's here ......,in new York!" ....my voice shook at the mention of his name .
Alejandra never cusses , but then again its not everyday your past comes to bite you in the butt .so it doesn't quite register when her response is "BLOODY HELL!"
