"I need a drink" were the first words out of my mouth when I got to the bar...I and Alexa had decided to meet here after I got out of that unplanned meeting with the one guy I wasn't expecting to see and to tell the truth it  took a lot for me to restrain myself....because as much as I hated him and his family for what was done toe I still wanted him, that much was clear
"Well look what the cat dragged in !"  Quipped Alexa humorously..." What got your nuts in a grind sugar ?" She asked  in a fake southern drawl , which on a good day would crack me up but right now was doing nothing to raise the dark cloud now called my mood...."he showed up at the office today" I answered on a sigh..... He freaking showed up with a cup of coffee... Iike how we met....over a cup of coffee.... How sick is that huh?..", i scoffed "after ruining my life ,he just shows up like its all flowers and sunshine between us....he is going to pay....him and his damned family....especially that ...that.......demon he calls...mother..!!."I spat the word  out like it was poison.....

          Flashback
"Hi!" , I chirped nervously....nick had brought me to his house to meet his parents....I was sweating a thousand a minute here and he seemed so calm...how could he be calm....his mother looked cold but his father on the other hand was the real life version of Santa clause ...he looked warm....hmmmm, I wonder if he goes ""ho ho ho"" too....that would be so cool..."hey", I was shaken out of my musings by nick....his mom had finnaly taken her beady eyes of me...she looked a lot better when she wasn't dissecting you life in her head....but all that went down the drain once she opened her mouth.." Nicholas darling, ...we don't need a new maid....I think the ones we have will do just fine. I hope you are staying for dinner, Katerina Chadwick will be coming ....I know you two will hit it off , just like old times ....I was mortified my cheeks had gone beet red....a maid! A freaking maid....how low was that...I wished for the ground to open up and swallow me at that moment...
"Mother!"  "Teresa! " Nick and his father said at the same time,   "mother,  this is my fiancée  Amelia brownstone...you would do well to not compare her to a maid...and what is this about the Chadwick's coming for dinner mom ...I told you I was bringing my fiance to dinner and you invited a third party...typical you mum!" He exclaimed incredulously.
By the time dinner arrived  I felt like hurling...his mother had been giving me death glares ever since....if looks could kill .I would be so deep in the ground, I would pass for a fossil.. No joke!
  I met his brothers... Tomas...is a cool dude ,...a little stiff but at least not as cold as ice queen over there...
Then we had...arch -angel....he truly was an angel with features so delicate they could pass for a god...
He was the life of the party...always ready for a good laugh..which is  why I was so happy I got to sit close to him...when the *third party* arrived..."oh em squee......Nicky ....its been so long"...I watched in awe as a bundling blur of fiery red tresses passed by me and aimed straight for 'MY 'fiance ....I took it for nothing...perhaps they were good friends.....
Dinner had been other wise pleasant...except for ice queen's daggers of doom....it was alright... And then red ( Katerina) decided to talk..."so Amelia...you work as a waitress ?"..."I heard people from that side of town get pregnant like...all the time..!" She said with a giggle...I gave a fake chuckle n return and reached to answer her when nicks mother said " of course they do its the only way to get them out of thier permanent penury...they both shared a laugh at my expense...my eyes brimmed with tears ....I noisily pushed my chair back "I'm sorry I need to leave...people from my side of town...don't make jokes about each other ...we encourage each other...and help ourselves become ,the best we can be...and that,"I said looking pointedly at Katerina, ..... "does not include fake boobs and even faker attitude....we, particularly...do not enjoy people who make others feel like shit...just so they can have the satisfaction from it....that is just sick!...you should be thankful that you have a son that loves you

I have to leave...dinner was wonderful leandro" ...I praised nicks father the company however needed some work....nick was about to get out of his chair then I said
"Don't worry about me, ..I'll be fine".
    Thirty minutes of no buses whatsoever I had made up my mind to go back into the house and wait it out for nick, I had just turned the corner to the car park when I heard moans....those were definitely... Not...animal...they were human a male and females precisely....Katerina and....Nickolas!

      Flashback over
I breathed out in frustration as I knocked back the contents of my glass....it still did nothing to erase the scenes flashing through my mind..."woah !!girl....take it easy on the apple cider....don't want you on the floor tonight" Alexa said sarcastically... "Har Dee fucking dar "..i said dryly...i called the waiter over and whispered into his ear... he turned and went behind the bar again and returned in a few seconds with three glasses filled with a beautiful blend of a drink...I knocked the first two glasses down in quick sucsesstion... As Alexa looked on with unveiled interest as she had never seen me so wound up...."what the hell is that ?"...she asked with a twinkle in her eye..
"This my friend". ...I said while holding up the glass , "is a toast to all the lying men...that give you false hope and when you need them they turn their backs on you, ...this my friend is a bloody Mary.....!
