" Ahhhh! Monday morning......the worst day of my life!" Alejandra sighed. I chuckled as I joined her at the steps of my office building "you have to be grateful that you have a job Alex "I reprimanded . she turned and faced me " of course I'm grateful , but after the weekend I had I'm allowed to be irritable, she huffed and marched up the stairs into the revolving doors and out of my line of sight I shook my head and headed inside the building , marching through the lobby,I received a barrage of good morning's, and ' Hello's' I smiled at them and returned the gesture . I looked around the office lobby,a sense of satisfaction washing over me at what I achieved in a few years .
A rueful smile making its appearance on my face as I stepped into my private elevator. Remembering a time when walking through a lobby was a way different scenario

" Hi, i chirped to the lady in the lobby , she gave me a condescending glance and snickered "what can I help you with? "Hi...... I wanna see Nicholas ,tell him its Amelia he's expecting me ,you can check with him if you want ..." She clicked a few buttons and looked at me in astonishment , alternating her gaze between my face at the computer screen,she then said with a sneer " take the elevator to the twenty-seventh floor and take a right.....you can't miss it" with a nod of my head I hurried past her table and went straight to the elevator...sooner than expected the elevator pinged alerting me that I had reached my destination..not looking ahead I bumped into a hard chest spilling hot coffee all over the both of us ....well mostly on him "oh my god fudge...I'm so clumsy..I'm sorry sir I didn't mean to ....really I...." "We really need to stop meeting over coffee, don't you think? " a thick velvety voice stopped me in my tracks , I gazed at stony grey eyes and felt the blush even before it made its grand appearance... I ducked already quite embarrassed. He took my chin in his large hands"no need to be embarrassed with me ..I think its quite cute. I blushed harder and he let out a throaty laugh....to my office shall we?he said with a gleam in his eyes that I couldn't decipher, but whatever I t was.....I didn't think I would get out unscathed "

I stepped out of the elevator and the heavenly smell of the ambrosia called coffee wafted into the room and laid assault on my taste buds lifted my eyes a ready smile on my face and about to thank Alex for preparing coffee when I heard it behind me" coffee sweetness?" I tensed,my movement halted..there was only one person that had that quality of voice" with a stiff smile ,I turned to face a pair of stony grey eyes,
