Amanda munched on her greasy burger happily and moaned at the first bite. It had been ten years since she's had actual food and she couldn't be happier. Sam and Dean seemed occupied quietly fighting about the location to take her, but she didn't pay any attention. She was so infatuated with her fast food she hardly even noticed she was still in her bloody mental ward gown.
Sam and Dean kept talking in hushed tones while driving down the highway. Amanda began to drift off after finishing her food. She leaned against the window and wrapped her arms around herself trying to keep warm.
Sam looked back then nodded to Dean. "She's asleep", he mumbled before turning around and looking out on the highway.
"Sam, you saw what I did. We can't take her back there. We don't even know what she is", Dean said glancing into his rearview mirror and looking back at Amanda's sleeping body.
"Dean, she didn't want to hurt anyone", Sam sighs and looks out the passenger window.
"You don't know that", Dean said shaking his head and glancing at Sam through the corner of his eye.
Sam rolls his eyes and sighs. "You don't know that she does want to hurt us".
Dean purses his lips and stays quiet before turning up the radio.

The impala pulls up to the Men of Letters home. Dean got out of the car and opened the trunk starting to unpack a few things. Sam looked back at Amanda's still sleeping figure. Sam leans back and shakes her lightly with his hand on her shoulder.
Amanda grabs his hand and twists it swiftly before opening her eyes. "What the hell", Sam groans. Amanda gasps and takes her hand away.
"Sorry. Uhm-reflexes", she says bashfully and turns away realizing the car stopped.
"It's fine", Sam holds his arm slightly and hisses through his teeth. "We're here".
Amanda opens the car door and looks around. Sam goes over to help her up still cradling his hand slightly. Amanda takes his hand gingerly and gets out of the car looking around. Sam walks her over to the door before taking the key out of his back pocket and opening the door.
Amanda was greeted with the smell of worn book jackets, water mold, and leather. She walked in after Sam and looked around in awe. The place looked like a dump from the outside but was an actual classic sanctuary. The marble floors were smooth and led into a large room with two staircases, a large meeting table, and shelves upon shelves of books.
Amanda was so caught up in the beauty of the place she hardly realized she'd stopped in the middle of the room. Sam looked back at her and motioned for her to follow him. She complied and followed him up the staircase quickly.
Amanda looked down still in awe of the room and looked at the meeting room from above. She then looked up at Sam and realized he was way ahead of her.
Dean finally came in through the front door and made his way up the stairs. Amanda and Sam were already down the the corridor with what Amanda assumed were rooms. How many people lived here, she thought as Sam opened room 3 and turned the lights on.
Amanda walked in as Sam held the door open. "Is this mine", she asked turning on her heels to look back at him. Sam towered over Amanda. She was a meager 5"4' while Sam had to be a full foot taller than her. "Yeah. Until we find your family you can stay here".
Amanda felt her heart plummet. Family. Sam didn't seem to notice the obvious fall on Amanda's features so he walked down the hallway. Amanda rushes to look out the door after him.
"Uh- I don't exactly have any other clothes", she said peeking out the doorway.
