Sabrina's POV
"I'm so excited!!" I squealed as I pulled Corey through the parking lot to the ticket booth.
"I've never seen you this excited before Sabs. Did you have too much cake?" He questioned lifting his perfectly formed eyebrows.
"Cor, you can never have too much cake. Besides, you know how long I've been waiting to see this play. Now come on! I want to get decent seats." I replied as he handed the ushers our tickets.
As we made our way to our seats, Corey grabbed my hand. I immediately squeezed it.
"Can you believe we are going to see Hamilton! I still can't believe it. Thank you so much for making this happen for me Corey." I said leaning my head on his shoulder.
"Anything for you Sabs," he said laying his head on top of my head.
We stayed in that position for a couple more seconds, until Corey lifted my chin to bring my eyes to his.
"I have a really important question to ask, but I'm not quite sure how to say it," he said scratching the back of his neck.
"What is it Cor?" I asked.
"So I like this girl and I don't know how to tell her how I feel. How do I know she feels the same way?" he responded.
"I would kiss her. If she kisses back you know she feels the same way. I say go for i-"
Next thing I know, Corey's lips are smashed onto mine. The butterflies in my stomach explode into fireworks as if it was the Fourth of July.
"I-I'm sorry," he stuttered.
"Don't be." I blushed as I pecked his lips, "I like you. A lot."
"R-really?" he asked somewhat relieved.
"Yes," I said happily.
He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I rested my head on his chest as we waited for the show to start. At this point, the show didn't even matter to me anymore. Just being in Corey's presence was enough for me.
