The Dream

Chapter 4

 

“Who are you?” I asked. He sighed in frustration again. I knew he was getting annoyed with me, “My name is Nathan, I’m 19, and from Chicago. Are we done with introductions?”

This kid must not be serious..

“Any other questions, i would be so happy to answer them?” he asked sarcastically added.

“No, nope, nada”, we all muttered.

“Okay now I have a question. Who the hell are you people?” he asked.

I sarcastically laughed, he can’t be serious, “Oh I’m Elizabeth and this my fist is gonna make a connection with you face real soon. Gosh your so rude. You dont even try to give a good impression”, I snapped at him.

This kid must have serious  issues cuz he was giving me a death stare.

“Look kid, I didn't come here to give you or your friends a good impression. I didn't come to fall in love and all that crap. So do something for me, shut up!” , he exclaimed.

I was so speechless. Josh went up to him and gave him a little shove and said, “Calm down you don't need to treat her like that”

Nate grabbed josh by his hand and kinda twisted it.  “Dont touch me,” Nathan warned.  Sooner than I knew it, I started to pull Josh away from Nathan, but Nathan had a really good grip on his arm. Noah and Emma soon joined me, but before we knew it, fist started flying. We all backed away, it was too much to handle.

They finally pulled away from each other, as I watched in horror; Josh spitting out blood. A black eye was starting to form, a whole lot of blood coming out of his Nose.

While Nathan, who was barely even touch, had a small cut on his lips.

I slowly walked towards Josh, but soon stopped when I saw his eyes grow darker. I just met him, and I'm already seeing a different side of him.

“I’ll fucking hurt you.” he yelled, furiously. His face started turning red, and his veins popped out.

“You bearly hit me., but you still want to talk?” Nathan spat, out of breath.

Nathan was about to go and punched Josh again, but Noah quickly reacted, by blocking his way.

Thank goodness for Noah. I thought.

“That’s enough!. This is ridiculous, why the hell are you fighting now? I'm not saying yall are gonna get along, but fighting won’t solve anything.” he roared.

“And Josh wipe that blood of your face” ,  It's disgusting. Emma commented.

“Look if you want to come with us all your issues need to go becau-”

“I dont have issues. I might not be the nicest person, but I  don’t have issues,.” he interrupted.

I rolled my eyes, .“I could care less about you,lets just pack up the stuff we need.

We packed the stuff we needed, and left. I grabbed the food and the aid kit. Noah grabbed all the food. Josh grabbed the sleeping bags, and Nathan and Emma didn’t grab anything.

Later________

We’ve been walking for hours, and the sun started to set. Birds started to chirp, mosquitoes started to bite.

“Im getting tired! I knew I should have brought my bug spray!” Emma complained.

“Shut up Emma!” I sang. “It was quiet until you spoke,” I added

It was starting to get dark, and everyone was getting really exhausted. When we were all about to collapse, we  finally found a  place.  It was scary though, since it was dark, all I could see was the open field, the grass, the vines, dead flowers. the branches, and the big trees surrounding everything.
