After finishing high school in Paris, Shiraishi (Y/N) comes back to Japan to go to Meiji with her friends.
Something happens with her apartment causing her best friend, Asahina Ema, to offer her to live with her and eleven of her brothers.
How will...
Song: Somewhere in Neverland by All Time Low (acoustic)
I sighed as I stared out the window of the train taking me away from the airport and towards my new apartment.
The humdrum of the train running along the rails blended together with the constant chatter of the unusually loud train.
The conductor yells over the loudspeaker about the next stop and the safety rules.
I pulled myself up and walked over to the doors with my suitcase rolling behind me.
The doors opened with a loud noise before people started exiting and entering the train.
I sighed once more before walking out of the train and to the elevator.
I rode the elevator up with a family with a child in a stroller and twins constantly bugging their parents.
They turned to me as soon as we entered and I blinked at them before smiling.
The elevator stopped and we walked out.
"Japan, I'm back." I muttered before walking down the familiar streets.
~
I huffed and smiled after I finished placing the last decoration down on the table.
"I'm done, finally!" I spoke to myself before walking over to the fridge and taking out a water and taking a sip.
"I have classes tomorrow and Ema invited me over after my last class ends at four... Her class ends at five thirty, however..." I muttered to myself, "she said it takes about twenty minutes to get to the house by train and walk after the ride. Yuusuke is supposed to escort me, but who knows with that kid."
I laughed quietly to myself before finishing my water and going to finish the painting I started earlier.
I stared at the incomplete canvas before sighing and sitting down next to it.
No ideas...
I hopped up suddenly with a bright smile and rushed to get changed out of my paint and sweat covered clothes.
I quickly grabbed my purse, a blank canvas, and art supplies after stuffing my phone in my pocket and bolting out the door.
~
I smiled at the familiar cherry blossom trees and placed my canvas and phone down before tying my hair up in a ponytail and walking over to the pond.
It's been forever since I was last here.
I climbed over the fence and slid into the pond, scaring the birds and the people near the fence.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" They yelled but I just laughed and splashed water at them.
"(Y/N)-chan?" I heard a familiar voice call and I looked at him.
"Ah, Natsume, what a coincidence. What are you doing here?" I looked at the orange haired Asahina who blinked at me.

"Get out of there, you'll catch a cold." He held his hand out and I grabbed it.
Natsume helped me out of the pond and put his coat over my shoulders.
"Thank you, you didn't have to do that." I smiled at him and he shook his head.
"It's not a problem. When did you get back?"
"Hm, a week ago? I've been unpacking and going to classes. Ema's been a huge help."
"She always is. Have you talked to him?"
"No... I've talked, or at least tried to talk, to Fuu-chan. Other than that the only one in your family I've talked to is Ema."
"Fuuto? Tried to talk?" Natsume raised an eyebrow and I chuckled lightly, remembering.
"It was a year ago and I had come back to Japan to see my aunt because she was going to die soon. I went to the CD place in this town to try and find music to help give me inspiration and to buy movies. I walked right into him. He tried to scold me, but he recognized me and bombarded me with questions before yelling never mind and stomping out." I smiled bitterly at the memory and Natsume looked at me.
"I'm sorry for your loss. Also, Fuuto is a weird kid, don't let it bother you."
I laughed and he looked at me curiously.
"Sorry, sorry." I gasped for air as I leaned against the tree that I left my stuff under.
"It's fine. You're really an artist now?" He moved his head towards the paint spread out.
"Yup! I'm majoring in it at Meiji and minoring in music." I smiled proudly.
"Hm. Anyways, I better be going. You can return that later, I don't mind. See you." Natsume waved and walked away.
I hugged the coat closer and watched him leave before sighing and getting an idea for a painting.
Carefully placing the coat away from where I would be painting, I picked up the brush and let my imagination take over.
~
I stretched my back as I smiled contently at the picture.
Paint covered my hands and the leggings I was wearing.
I cleaned up my supplies before grabbing Natsume's jacket and walking home.
As I reached my apartment, I put Natsume's jacket on a chair and placed my supplies and canvas on the table along with my purse. I walked to the bathroom while thinking about tomorrow.
I get to see them again after two years...
With that thought in mind, I got in the shower and got ready for the night before falling asleep instantly.
