Alex screamed as if I was on the other side of the country when I retold her the story of my interaction with Diana, her followers and Nate.

'You heard and am not repeating it for you' I told her stubbornly when she asked me to repeat myself.

'No, no I heard it, it's just unbelievable if you know what I mean,' she said in a kind of hurt tone

Thanking God for being her best friend I knew she was hiding something. 'Alex?' I said stretching her name out so I could get her attention.

'Hmm,' she replied not turning back, probably knowing what the question will be. Being so sure she would give up and turn around, I waited for her to face me and tell me, even though I was curious about how she never bothered with her depression and as to why she never reached out for help.

'Okay, okay you got me there," Alex said as she finally faced me. 'Well basically I've been hitting on that Nate guy for the last two weeks and he didn't even give me the slightest bit of attention. Elyza tell the truth am I that ugly that he can't look at me?' she questioned while twirling her dirty blonde hair at the bottom.

'No Alex you're a cute, beautiful, smart, and funny girl,' I told her, looking her dead in the eye so she could tell I was sincere.

'No, you're only saying that so you could make me feel better,' She said, still not believing me

Now this was really giving me a headache. She never cared what people thought of her, so why is Nate's opinion of her so important? I think I need to delve further into this to find out what was really wrong. After all Alex was the one who taught me not to care about what other people said. I decided to argue the point to try and get it into Alex's head that she was perfect.

'No, I am not lying to you Alex, if he can't see how fantastic you are then he is really missing out but it is his loss, not yours! You see, sometimes some people are not worth talking to,' I said all in one breath.

I looked at her and I could tell that she was absorbing everything that I had just told her. As I was waiting in silence for Alex to respond a thought popped into my head.

'Eureka, that's it!' I screamed jumping up and down acting like this was my first time coming up with an idea. And by the way I'm not childish it's just that I grew up watching Horrid Henry and yes when I was small I used to do some of the tricks I learned from him.

Totally forgetting that Alex hated that phrase, I put my hands over my hears waiting for her to scream the words that had become part of her everyday speech; 'Elyza you should-'

Before Alex had a chance to finish her rant I finished it for her; 'Stop that habit,' I said mimicking her voice. Looking up at her she had a big, fat smirk on her face. Now I was confused, she usually hated it when I finished her sentences. Before I could even ask, she answered my question.

'Haha, I wasn't going to say that!' she stated triumphantly.

'Then what were you going to say?' I asked in an impatient tone, because I did not have the time and I was not in the mood for one of her pathetic jokes.

'I was going to say YAH JUGULUE~ (Hey! you want to do die),' she said in a happy tone like it was the first time she had learned and used a word from a different language. She saw I wasn't going to laugh so she got her serious face back.

'Okay what's the idea that got you jumping up and down like a mad woman?' She asked.

'Well you know when I was coming back to our room,' I trailed off and she raised one eyebrow for me to continue.

'Ashton came along and asked me if we could go to his party he's holding in his room and he also told me that the guy was coming so if we go we could then find out who is close to him and look for info, and come on when was the last time we enjoyed ourselves?' I finished appealing to her part animal side.

'Alright, on one condition,' and here is yet another side of Alex.

'What condition?' I asked skeptically.

'Under NO circumstances are you or I going to drink understand?' Alex told me.

'Yes, Geez you're acting like a mother giving orders into her daughter, and I defiantly prefer the hyper active girl who doesn't stop talking.' I replied.

"Wait, we don't have anything to wear to a party, what are we going to go in, our pajamas?' Alex asked dismayed as though our party experience had finished before it had begun.

'Don't worry Alex, Its all ready from top to bottom,' I assured her.

I hope I enjoy this party I thought to myself.
