As soon as I drove off out of the whole place, there was...a large sound that made me stop the car at a large halt.
"What..." I muttered, looking up at the car ceiling. I also quickly looked behind me. No cars... I looked back up-the sound came up from there.
"What was that sound-did a branch hit on your car, Haise-San??" Hanao asked, a bit shocked at her assumption.
I shook my head, narrowing my eyes. "...no..." I quickly, but not turning my head, aimed to lock the car doors. *click*
Hanao's eyes widened slightly. "Is something wrong??"
I nodded. "Hanao, please don't speak for a moment...and take off your seatbelt."
"Eh,why-."
"Quick..!" I lowly shouted at her.
She hesitated at first, but then quickly followed my orders. I looked around the car windows, checking the back seats also. Where's my suitcase..??
"Done." She whispered.
I nodded. "Alright..." I blinked quickly, whispering. "...I'm going to come on your side, and open your car door. I will pull you out for a signal, and when I say go, I want you to run as fast as you can, and don't look back."
She looked at me, a bit confused. "And if you don't signal me? Do I just stand there?"
I sighed. Really? "Don't sass me, prepare yourself. I'm coming to your side..."
She sighed also. "Yes, yes..."
I carefully slipped in to her side, trying to find space. She quickly scooted the seat back. I took a deep breath. "Thanks."
She nodded in return. I then carefully unlocked the car door, making a small *click* sound. I looked out the window, prepared for anything. Suddenly, just when I touch the car door handle, a *thump* was heard from above us. I furrowed my brows. Shit...
"Haise-San??" She asked, a bit confused on what exactly was going on.
"Ready...set..." I opened the door, stepping out quickly. "..go..!"
I grabbed Hanao's wrist, pulling her out, while I turned to face the top of my car's top-my face was suddenly pulled back with a light rush of cold air. I clenched my teeth. I was facing face-to-face to a girl. Bandages filled her body-and face.
"Go, Hanao!" I pushed her slightly. She didn't budge. I didn't want to turn back to look at her, it was dangerous now. Why didn't she move? Is someone blocking the way?
I didn't dare look back, cause if I did, I knew the girl would attack. No, it wasn't a girl. It was a ghoul. No-a half. Like me.
Red, sharp, glowing eyes, the blackest of the night, red veins, long green hair, a grin across her face, and a bandaged body with aura that flowed around her.
But, it wasn't just a half ghoul. It was...someone I thought I've met before.
She then chuckled, grinning. "Why, who do we have here?? Kekeke..."
I wrinkled my nose. "What're you doing out here?"
"See, Haise, let's make a deal."#theshipissailing??
