Chapter 43:

Jackson's POV:

"Did you hear that?" Bambam asked me in shock of what we just heard from Mark and Wendy, we were on our way to the cafeteria when we saw the two walking ahead of us, they didn't seem to notice us nearby and just continued their conversation.

"Mark's is really planning to break up with Minyoung-ah" I said also in shock as well.

"Should we tell Minyoung-noona?" Bambam asked worried. To be honest, I don't know what to do, I don't want Mark to hurt her but I also don't want my friendship with Mark to get ruined because I tried to get involved with his relationship.

"I'll talk to Mark first" I said lowly as Bambam and I headed to the cafeteria where I saw Minyoung eating with GFriend, Mark was on the other side of the cafeteria with Wendy, they were sitting alone together but we decided to ruin that moment.

"Mark, can I excuse you for a moment" I told them as we approached their table, Mark just stared at me in confusion but agreed to anyways.

"Excuse me, but we were in a middle of a conversation" Wendy said as he grabbed Mark's arm and pulled him back down to sit "You two can talk some other time"

"This is important" Bambam told the two of them

"I don't care" Wendy said rudely, she is starting to get on my nerves and I'm Jackson Wang! I don't easily get mad.

"This will just be a minute" Mark told Wendy who just huffed and sulked in her seat. Mark got up from the table and we then headed out the cafeteria and into a vacated classroom.

"Hyung, I'll leave it to you" Bambam said before leaving Mark and I to be alone, I just nodded and response and waited for him to leave the classroom.

"Why did you call me out here? Are you going to confess to me?" Mark joked like this wasn't a serious situation right now.

"No, I just want to make sure of something" I started off, he seemed to be taken aback that I was serious at the moment "Are you really planning to break up with Minyoung?"

"What?" He asked surprised.

"Bambam and I heard you talking to Wendy before lunch" I informed him "You're eventually going to breakup with Minyoung before the X-Games right?" I asked him, he couldn't look me straight in the eyes at that moment, that's when I knew he was really considering breaking up with her.

"Jackson-ah, you know how much going back to LA means to me and my family" He said, I was so disappointed in him.

"I do, I also know how much you mean to Minyoung" I told him "We're bestfriends, practically brothers, but Minyoung is also important to me and right now I think Park Jimin deserves to date her more than you" I told him hoping it would knock some sense into him, I don't know if it did but I definitely struck a nerve there, I noticed his eye twitch.

"Jackson-ah, if you just called me out to compare me to Park Jimin, don't bother, I'm leaving" He said annoyed as he was about to walk out of the classroom.

"Hyung, I called you out because I want you to think about what you're doing" I told him, he stopped midway his tracks as i said that "I want you to think it over, I'm not going to stop you in which one you choose, I just want you to choose the one that you won't regret" I told him "I'm your bestfriend, I want you to be happy so just choose carefully"

"I know Jackson, thanks" He said lowly then walked out of the classroom.

I just hope whichever one he chooses; he chooses the one that makes him happy.

Minyoung's POV:

I was eating lunch with GFriend and I'm actually having a really great time, I usually hang out with GOT7 and I used to hang out with Min-unnie but being with a different group is a great change of pace. I should socialize more often.

As we were talking about cute boys in school, which by the way they chose Jungkook, I felt my phone vibrate from my jeans. I pulled out my phone and saw a text from Mark.

'Dog, roof now'

He must be pissy again right now if he's calling me dog again.

"I have to go, I'll see you guys in class" I told the girls who smiled and nodded in response.

I quickly headed to the roof where Mark was standing by the edge. He looks like he was deep in thought, I wonder what happened while we were apart.

"Mark, what's wrong?" I asked as I headed towards him. He stayed quiet for a moment before letting out a deep sigh.

"I don't know what to do" He said lowly, I just gave him a confused look "Wendy being here—"

"You know what you should do?" I asked him "Don't worry about it, it won't get you anywhere, it will only give you wrinkles"

"Minyoung-ah, can't you see how difficult things are?" He asked upset.

"I don't know how things ended up between you two but I do know you two were really serious, serious enough to keep the picture of two you in your desk even though you broke up a long time ago and we've been dating for a while now. I know you aren't over her and there are probably still feelings there and I understand that" I told him "I know it must be difficult being around her but you should always remember... your dog will never leave you"

"Minyoung-ah, what if she got between us—" He started off

"I'm your dog, I won't let anyone come near my master" I half joked and chuckled a little "dogs are very possessive when it comes to their owners"

He did not say anything, he just turned to face me then pulled me into a hug, he buried his face in the crook of my neck. I wasn't sure but I think he was crying a little.

Things must really be difficult for Mark right now.

"Do you want to go to the skate park?" I asked him.
