Chapter 13:

Mark hasn't talked to me all morning; he was really avoiding me today. I wonder what I did or say last night for him to act this way. It's not that I'm complaining though, I just feel like something big happened last night and I should know about it.

I sighed and got up from my seat and headed to the rooftop to get some fresh air. My head was still spinning from the hangover and some fresh air might help with my headache. As I reached the rooftop, I quickly lay down on my usual spot and watched the clouds pass by. It was a beautiful cloudy day, it wasn't that hot and the wind was perfect.

"Here" I heard someone say as I was about to fall into a deep slumber.

I opened my eyes to find Jimin standing in front of me with a can of coffee in his hand. I sat up as he sat down beside me, he handed the can in my hands and smiled brightly at me. I wasn't expecting him to be here honestly, was he following me?

"Thank you" I said as I grabbed the warm can of coffee and rubbed my hands on the can so it could give me warmth as well.

"It might help lessen the hangover" He advised, I smiled and bowed a little before opening the can and taking a sip of the drink.

"Although I don't enjoy the hangover, I actually enjoyed getting drunk last night, it made me forget about my problems so thank you" I said sincerely. I really did have fun last night even though half of it was a complete haze to me. I could barely remember last night but I know I enjoyed it.

"I'm glad... I think?" He replied, he wasn't sure if asking me to drink was a good thing or a bad thing. "What's that on your neck?" He asked as he stared at me in confusion "It looks like a hicky" He said as he examined the red mark on my neck, it looked like a bruise.

"What?" I said in shock. I quickly pulled out my phone and checked the red bruise that was on the crook of my neck. My eyes grew wide at the sight, why haven't I noticed this when I was bathing? "Did I hook up with any guy last night?" I asked, my heart started to race, I can't imagine myself hooking up with anyone especially in a club.

"Not a single guy came to you last night, I made sure of it" Jimin answered. I kind of felt happy that he made sure no guy was hitting on me last night, although Jimin is a player, he was still a gentleman.

"Then where did this came from?" I asked, I'm sure it wasn't Jimin and he said no one came to me last night then the only possible answer is... Mark Tuan.

I quickly got up from my sitting position and ran back inside the school premises, leaving Jimin behind. I'm pretty sure he was left completely dumbfounded at that moment. Me running off so suddenly was surprising.

"We need to talk" I said to Mark who was eating with the rest of GOT7, he just gave me a questioning look then ignored me and went back to eating.

"Woah! You look horrible" Jackson said as soon as he saw me.

"We also need to talk but I have to talk to Master Tuan over here" I said sarcastically, Mark just rolled his eyes at me and continued eating.

"Master Tuan?" Jinyoung-oppa asked, Jackson furrowed his eyebrows at it too.

"Nevermind, look we need to talk" I repeated

"I'm eating right now dog, go away" Mark said coldly, I couldn't resist but making a clicking sound with my tongue. I'm starting to get really annoyed with this guy.

"Then explain to me what this is?" I asked as I pulled the collar of my shirt down and showed him the bruise on my neck; he froze and stared at it for a moment then continued eating. The rest of GOT7 had their jaws on the floor at the sight.

"Mark-hyung did that to you?" Youngjae asked, he was still shocked about it.

"Don't be stupid, when you passed out last night at the bar, when I was trying to carry you, you fell down hitting the table, that's where you got the bruise" Mark explained bluntly, was he lying? Should I take his word for it?

I'm probably in denial or and I didn't want to believe that something actually happened between me and Mark so I'll just accept his explanation.

"If that's what really happened then okay then, I'll believe you" I told him "I'm going to the infirmary to get pain relievers" I informed him but he just rolled his eyes at me

"I don't care" He responded like the complete jerk that he is. Aish! Whatever, I'm leaving. I headed outside the cafeteria and went straight to the infirmary to get some rest.

Mark's POV:

That was a close call, I can't believe I was stupid enough to leave a hicky on her neck. Thank god she was so gullible. I guess I got carried away last night and didn't think of the consequences. If she found out what happened who knows what she'll do.

"Is she really your dog?" Jackson asked in disbelief. I forgot, he knows about it.

"Yeah, so?" I asked

"So that bruise--" He asked

"I have never touched her, I don't plan to, she's my dog because I'm blackmailing her" I lied, I bet I sound really defensive because Jackson furrowed his eyebrows at me, I bet he's judging me right now.

"Blackmailing her?" He asked "Aren't your dogs, your play things? So the reason why she's hanging out with you is because she's your dog? It's been 4 months, I doubt you haven't--"

"I have never slept with her" I retorted.

"Don't tell me, she's the one who changed the cold hearted Mark Tuan?" Jackson teased, I just rolled my eyes at him and let out a sigh of annoyance "Then does that mean you're over Wendy?"

"I've been over Wendy way before I even came here" I half lied, I don't think I'm over her yet, not that my heart craves for her but my heart is still infuriated with her. She's my ghost that has been haunting me until today.

"Have your really?" Jackson asked, he knew me well and I know I couldn't lie to him.

"Just shut up and eat your food" I growled at him, making him chuckle in response.

Now that I think about it, why did Minyoung want to talk to Jackson? Don't tell me she wants to find out about my past, she should never find out about what happened to Wendy and I. I moved her to leave everything behind, but it seems like what I buried has been finding its way out into the surface.
