Chapter 27:

Minyoung's POV:

The morning classes went by like how it usually was, Mark was with Jackson and the rest while I sat on my seat and studied. He would usually look by my direction and smile at me and I would smile back. I could see nothing wrong in this relationship we have, I wonder if he's the one I'll spend my whole life with? Aigoo! I guess it's too soon to think about marriage and all that stuff.

"Yah! Minyoung-ah! Yah!" I quickly snapped out of my trance and saw Mark standing in front of me. "Are you okay? You're turning red" He said then placed his hand on my forehead.

It felt like steam came out of my ears. I was embarrassed, both for having marriage thoughts about Mark and him in front of me while I was thinking it.

"I'm fine!" I suspiciously said and chuckled awkwardly.

"What are you being giddy about?" He asked.

"Nothing!" I said quickly looking away "What did you want anyways?" I said, still avoiding eye contact with him.

"It's lunch" He pointed out "Let's go" He said, I just nodded, I got up from my seat and followed behind him.

As we were by the hallway he stopped walking, which I did the same and gave him a questioning look. He did not say anything, he just smiled at me then intertwined his fingers with mine, I couldn't help but blush the deepest shade of red at that moment.

I guess I still wasn't used to any of this.

"The dance competition is coming up soon" He stated as we continued walking towards the cafeteria "Do you think GOT7 will win?"

"BTS are power dancers but GOT7 has tricks so I really can't say" I told him.

"We'll slay, we may not win but GOT7 will slay" Mark said confidently, I just smiled and nodded at him.

"So what are your plans for the X-Games?" I asked him, although he didn't look like he wanted to talk about it.

"It's a surprise, your jaw will drop, I assure you" he stated.

"I can't wait" I told him "I'll be dropping by the skate park later, if that's fine with you?" I asked him, he didn't respond for a while but eventually nodded.

Why does it seem like every time I mention anything related to skateboarding, his mood changes.

"I'll be at rehearsal, drop by after okay?" He told me.

After school, I dropped by home to grab my bag and board and quickly headed to the park. I haven't been there in ages and I really miss the HIGH4 gang.\

I quickly got changed in the public bathroom and went straight inside the park to my surprise there was a new skater going down the ramp.

"Min—" Myunghan started off but I quickly covered his mouth

"Didn't I say not to call me by my name?" I asked him

"But I was going to call you MinStar" He retorted as he pulled my hand away from his mouth.

"And you know I hate being called that" I told him, he just rolled his eyes at me like the diva he is. "Anyways, who's the new guy?" I asked as I watched the guy go up and down the ramp.

"I don't know; he was here when we got here" Youngjun stated.

"He looks familiar" I stated bluntly.

I then went up the ramp to approach him, he looked oddly familiar, have I seen him before? Maybe if I get up close with him, I'll know who he is.

As I waited for him to finish, I noticed a girl sitting by the benches watching the new guy. They don't look like they're both from here.

"Hey!" The new guy greeted as he finished his rounds. I bowed and formally greeted him.

"Hey, you must be new here, right?" I asked him.

"Just visiting" He stated, so he's not from Seoul? "I'm Shin Donggeun"

"I'm Min... I mean Kwang! Kwangmin, my name is Kwangmin!" I told him, crap! I almost told him my real name but atleast I covered, but where did that name come from? Crap! I sounded really suspicious!

"Are you sure? You don't sound so sure?" He asked me, I nodded eagerly making it more suspicious.

Remind me to slap myself later

"Hi!" Myunghan said as the members of HIGH4 came and greeted the new guy.

"Don't mind Kwangmin here, he gets nervous around new skaters" Sunggu stated

"Right, well I guess we'll be going now, a long travel back home and all that" Donggeun said. We just nodded in response and watched the guy walked towards the familiar looking girl by the benches.

"What a weird guy" I blurted out mindlessly.

"No he's not" Youngjun started off "You are, Kwangmin!" He said, stressing the name 'Kwangmin' then laughed like an insane person.

"Shut up! I panicked!" I retorted, they then continued to torment me with my new name. I kind of liked the name though, I might name my son that someday with Mark.

Mark? I mean what? I mean no! I mean shut up brain!

"Why are you blushing now?" Alex asked me, I quickly shook my head in response.

"Nothing!" I defended then quickly went down the ramp to avoid any further embarrassment.

Peniel's POV:

"Was that him?" I asked her as we headed back to a nearby café to sort out data we've collected about the skaters.

"That Kwangmin person is definitely MinStar" She stated.

"Too bad Mark Tuan wasn't around, I wanted to break his face so bad" I stated as I remembered what happened at the last X-Games.

"Fuck that, the X-Games is what he's after, no revenge is sweeter than beating him at the X-Games" She said "He doesn't' even know you'll be competing, he'll be completely thrown off guard when he sees you at the X-Games"

"Wendy, Wendy, Wendy, even if he was aware several years ago that I'd be competing, he still doesn't stand a chance against me" I told her, she just smiled cheekily at me.

"And that is why I love my Peniel D. Shin" She cooed then leaned over to land a quick kiss on my lips.

p.s anyways, if you're wondering about the competition during the 27th, i lost nyuhuhuhu... but whatever, i got to meet KM Santos (JB Ph), Angelo Lim and Kimi Almazora (Joy Ph) if you're filipino i'm sure you know who they are <3 ... happy holidays guys!
