Chapter 7

"so it's true"the eldest girl chirped

"all the rumors at school were true...you dropped out cause you got knocked up by jackson" my breath hitched as she spoke

"she's his ex" the next girl said coldly

"that night he slept with you...he was drunk..we were going thru a bad time so i guess he took it out on you and when you got knocked up he felt bad...he's a sweet guy that way"she kept talking as my breathing started to get faster to fight tears

"look how cute your little girl is....it won't last long....jackson loves me...you were a MISTAKE" she snapped as she got mad making me flinch

my old friend stepped forward as if to say something but was shot a cold glare from the second girl as the first one took a few steps closer to me making my grip on dawn get tighter as my teary eyes looked at her

"i bet your use to being a..mistake" she said quietly.

i couldn't take it tears rolled down my eyes before i heard a buzzing noise,i looked up to see my old friend hit the button to call emergency in my room,the oldest looks shocked and mad as doctors run in with nurses and jackson's not far behind as nurses calm me down and jackson looks at the older girl

"brittney..."he said quietly

"oh...hey babe..." she stepped close to him

"i'm not your ANYTHING" he snapped at her

the girl is taken aback before doctors order them out leaving me in tears holding dawn as i sob quietly before jackson runs to my side taking hold of my hand and putting the other hand on my cheek stopping some of the tears

"sky please....she is nothing to me...i had dumped her a few days before we met and after i met you i got rid of her number...this is the first time in a year i've seen her please don't let anything she said influence you she just wants to get in your head...please sky.."he said quietly

i squeezed his and before speaking

"she called me....a...mistake"my voice cracked

"skyler...you're no mistake...i love you"he said sweetly

"i love you to" i said nodding in tears as dawn awoke

i looked at her in tears and smiled as i moved my hand near hers letting her little fingers wrap around my finger as i held her close.i felt jackson's hand against my cheek before our lips connected and for the moment the world was silent and there was no one there but me and him.i felt him wipe my tears as i wrapped my free arm around his neck pulling myself close to him not wanting to ever let go.but sadly i felt him move back as he took down out of my arms and rocked her as i looked at him and smiled till dawn got fussy and jackson looked like he did something wrong so i smiled and took her

"dont worry love...will you go get my mum plz..."i said softly

he nodded and smiled as he left.i feed dawn while i waited for my mum,i finished feeding dawn as she fell asleep and the door opened but it was jackson again

"they said you mom left..a while ago.."he said sadly

my heart sank and i was nearly brought to tears but i smiled thru the pain and tried to shake it off as the doctor walked in smiling

"good news miss.you can go home finnally we just got all the test back and you and your daugther are fine to go home" he said cheerfully

i smiled but it quickly faded as the doctor left the room and anxiety washed over my body,but i was good at hiding it.jack took my hand and helped me into the wheelchair as he grabbed my bags and stayed with me as the nurse wheeled me down to the taxi as we left for our apartment as the taxi pulled up and jackson paid before he helped me upstairs and into the house

"my mum had a surprise for you"he smiled

i looked confuse till he led me into the spare room that was now changed into a pink nursery,anything we could have needed from diapers to undies and milk.i teared up and hugged him before i laid down in the crib.

"this is perfect.."i say in tears quietly

he kisses my head before picking me up and if felt good to hold him as dawn slept and he carried me to our bedroom.he laid me on the bed then kissed my head

"what do you want for dinner love..."he smiled
